I’m SO glad this place has extended its hours. It used to be lunch only and now I can satiate my dinner time cravings. The bread is legit. None of this French baguette masquerading as Vietnamese baguette. This place has a great selection of rolls, phở, salad, and bahn mi. I love the combo mix of pork and chicken bahn mi, the tofu salad, the beef stew, and chicken phở. Everything is reasonably priced as well!

I’ve been regularly walking past Panda Panda for a few years now since it opened, always thinking the menu looks interesting/good value, and finally(a good four years later!) I took my friend to give it a try and we weren’t disappointed. There are so many appetizing things on the menu it took us a while to decide(the staff are friendly but hung back and didn’t bother us, which I like), eventually I opted for the Vietnamese ham & pâté Banh Mi(tasty and filling, would highly recommend!) and my friend had the Char Sui pork noodles(the biggest bowl of food I have ever seen for a fiver). Will definitely return soon to try the soups, summer rolls, and bubble tea, can’t wait.

I’ve only ever had their taro bubble tea with coconut soya milk here, but it’s probably one of the best I’ve ever had! Unfussy, uncomplicated, taro bubble tea, which tasted yummy. Friendly staff too, which is always lovely to see. Will definitely be going back there!

One of my local favourites. Good range of baguettes, soups, noodles and tasty juices and shakes.

Panda Panda is one of my favourite things about living in New Cross. I spotted the cute little panda on the sign outside last year when it first opened and knew I had to go, and I’d always wanted to try banh mi. Myself and my husband are now regulars — he usually goes for the panda panda special and I have the satay chicken with extra chilli and peanuts. He is also a fan of the fish balls and we both like the summer rolls as well. Every time we go I mean to try something else but that satay chicken sandwich is just too good to miss! I also highly recommend the milkshakes — you can have them made with a vast array of chocolate bars and they are amazing. Thick and really tasty — like a pudding to go with your lunch. The pineapple bubble tea is also good, but without the fancy packaging you get in places like Bubbleology. Panda Panda is definately worth visiting Deptford for, oh and bring cash they’d don’t take cards!

All hail the arrival of this excellent establishment! I look forward to coming to Deptford since discovering this gem! Go to the market too and make a day of it, then go and see something at the Albany nearby! Deptford is really becoming vwer appealing The staff are friendly and considerate, the menu is wide ranging and well considered and the food is beautiful, interesting, modern and traditional and always very reasonably priced. You will find it is never as full as the food suggests it should be, and the fast efficient service means that you never have to wait too long. There is a shortage of great restaurants in Lewisham, so don’t pass this one by. Love the cute logo and well considered packaging. I am a big fan of the soups and the summer rolls, OHTHOSESUMMERROLLS!!! Panda Panda it a little jewel and you will want to visit it often.

This Vietnamese sandwich bar has two great specialities: their banh mai(filled baguettes with optional chili and peanuts) and bubble teas. Both are freshly made to order and absolutely delicious. There are also other snacks and desserts available, as well as a full range of drinks.(The chocolate bar milkshakes are recommended!)
