This is a nice little park with many sports facilities next to Maida Vale tube station. The park is not very big but it is beautiful, clean and with some nice and tidy gardens. On sunny days it can get busy but not as busy as other parks like Hyde Park. They have many sports facilities for outdoors sports, a fitness suite and a café. I use the tennis facilities and I am very happy with the courts. The cost is really low and there is a good number of courts(around 13), both tarmac and synthetic. The courts have trees around them to provide some peace and quiet while you play. The location is ideal as the park is 2 minutes walk from the tube station. One last point is that if you live it Westminster and have the Saver Card that the Council offers, you get discounted services at Pad Rec.

I want to give this place a one star so people stay away. But how can I? I love this park which has a dozen tennis courts, a running track, cricket nets, football and hockey fields, a gym, café and much more. If I ever move to a different home, I will miss this place the most. Only annoying thing. Parents bring Kids to run on the track despite there being plenty of open space for kids. Get a clue people!

Really enjoy strolling through Paddington Recreation Ground, any time of year. Love to stop off at the Park Café for a great Soya Latte. Its a great space in the Middle of Maida Vale, which is highly utilised. Apart from the Café, it has a gym, plenty of tennis courts, a bowls green, hockey field, childrens play area, a rose garden and an athletics track. If fact, it is here that Sir Roger Bannister trained in preperation for his 4 minute mile record, whilst practicing at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.

There’s a few sectioned-off areas for dogs to roam around freely. I appreciate that they tried to make it more than just flat grass — there’s a little tunnel the dogs can run through. Still, though, it’s pretty small. Not so much a dog ‘park’ as much as it is a place for dogs to poo.

This is probably the place where(aside from my apartment) you can have the most fun in W9. Wide open spaces, not a chav in sight and a rather wonderful place to play rounders, which is exactly what I did this delightful Sunday. And yes, before you ask I did score a rounder and was a fairly good bowler. Woe betide my bat dropping skills when you’re powering to base one, as I nearly knocked someone’s head off while flinging the beast down! For something altogether more sedate, lawn bowls is open to play from May September every year.

I love living five minutes from Paddington Recreational Ground(Paddington Rec to locals) because its like a mini version of some of my favourite London parks. If you’re feeling fit or want to get into shape in the New Year, there’s a large athletic track and a few tennis courts. there used to be a gym in the midlle of the park but teh building is currently being refurbished. There are two children adventure playgrounds usually packed with Filipino nanies and more bugaboos than a branch of Daisy and Tom’s. The quiet rose gardens are perfect for sitting with a good book and an ice cream in the summer. Speaking of food there is a lovely café in the middle of the park that does amazing chips for around £1.50 and a range of simple dishes like jacket potatoes and omlettes. If the weather isn’t too bad there is plenty of outdoor seating so you can eat your chips al fresco. We’ve just got my son a tricycle for his birthday next week and I’m looking forward to wrapping up and taking him for a ride in the park.

This is one of the nicest parks in northwest London, i grew up playing in it. it has so many facilites you are spoilt for chioce family, singles, couple it caters for all not to mention the beautiful rose gardens and the old band stand unless they have pulled it down but gardens are a great way to get some peace. the gym is very good and running track keeps you going. they also have fundays and stuff going on all the time.

Paddington Recreation Ground is bordered by Maida Vale on one side and Kilburn on another. There are four entrances to the Paddington Recreation Ground, the main on being on Randolph Avenue. Facilities within the park itself, include a café, two play grounds(over and under 5s), a running track, football pitch, parking and tennis courts, aswell as a gym. A nature reserve area is also being developed. Paddington Recreation Ground is a great community based facility for all age groups and members of the community.
