One Embankment

On Tuesday, 18-​February 2014, One Embankment was used as the location/​venue for the Elle Style Awards 2014 event

One Embankment is an event space. And I mean that in the most specific way: it is a space for events. A blank canvass that has looked completely different the two times I was here.
It’s part of the One Events group, and they do know how to throw an event. Basically, whatever you want this space to look like, it can look like. Cool and elegant or funky fresh, I saw both. It’s a big space, you can do about ³⁰⁰⁄₄₀₀ for seated and probably double that standing.
Much like with any event space, it’s mostly what you do with it. With the right lighting, décor, etc, this place can really shine. I have zero idea what it looks like without those things, since I only saw it decked up, but it’s probably pretty blank. But if you have any idea, and a lot of people to fill in that idea, this may be a good place to start.
