Old Tom’s bar is a beautiful venue offering the finest in British meats, cheeses and craft ale. Regarded as a hidden gem in the historic Leadenhall Market in the City of London we are a perfect venue for foodies and drinks enthusiasts to book a table for lunch, drink in the evening or hire for a party.

History

Established in 2011.

Originally a butchers in the 1800’s, the space that is now Old Tom’s was the basement bar of the Lamb Tavern above until 2011 when it was refurbished to become Old Tom’s bar as we know it today.

Named after a famous goose ‘Old Tom’ who used to frequent Leadenhall market after being saved from the butcher’s knife, Old Tom’s is located in a vibrant area in the City of London with a rich history.
