Large portions of truly fresh fish, washed down with a pilsner from Istanbul. The Turkish family owners are very friendly whether you eat in the small, quiet area in the rear, or take away. Never greasy as other places in London may serve.

I hadn’t got anything to go with the sausages I was cooking. Luckily there’s a chippy around the corner — this one! The chips were good, nicely cooked, though I’m not a massive salt and vinegar fan(I know, sacrilege…) so asked for a tiny bit, though the amount she put on I’d hate to think what a ‘normal’ amount of salt is to her(probably more salt than chips). I’ll have to go back sometime to try the fish though as it’s my local, and surprisingly I don’t think I’ve ever been here. I’ll update when I do.
