Our shop on London’s famous Columbia Road Flower Market has been trading for over 15 years.

History

Established in 1995.

Nom works directly with artisans in Vietnam and Cambodia to create handcrafted, beautiful, functional and sustainable products for the home.

Our collections are produced to the highest quality, at a fair cost and offered at an affordable price.

We believe handcrafted products have an inherent individuality, with unique differences revealing how they have been made, setting them apart from mass-​produced items.

Over the years Nom has also had shops in Walton Street, Exhibition Road (Grovers Flower Shop) and a presence at various trade shows such as Top Draw, Maison D’Object, Grand Designs, Ideal Home Show, Asia House, Spirit of Christmas and many more.

Business Owner

The company was founded in the early 90’s after my Vietnamese mother returned to the country of her birth for the first time since she had left as a teenager. After the initial flood of emotions, she noticed, above the poverty, stood a people possessing ambition, complimented by an abundance of craft-​based skills handed down through the generations. Every material was a possible contender for use and every skill as important as the next. What was missing was direction and finesse.

By my mid 20’s I had witnessed this small company grow, bringing work to hundreds of people thereby realising its mission to creating beautiful products. It felt right for me was to join forces with my mother and hopefully bring along a fresh creative mind and extra vision to our direction. Since then we have added a few key people to our small team and remain intensely proud of our products. We hope to present you all with a special and memorable collection of products.
