Nipa’s Beauty

I have been coming here for nearly 3 years now, A) because they are cheap (£3 for eyebrow threading, £2 for upper lip), B) they do a great job, and C) it’s really quick. I used to go to a spa that did threading and they would give you the full spa experience. To be honest when I am having hair ripped out of my face I don’t really care if there is music playing in the background or scented candles lit.
Here there is no need for that terrible small talk that is involved in many beauty treatments. They ask what you want done, e.g. eyebrows, and no other input is needed. Sometimes you do need to wait for a while, probably the longest I have waited is 20 minutes, but that’s usually on a Saturday afternoon. If you are looking up their hours online don’t expect them to stick to them at the end of the day. I’ve been here at 6.40pm before when they say they close at 7pm and they sent me away but I won’t dock them a star for that because fair enough that they are tired after a long day.
Seriously, you will get better treatment here for the price than you will in central London for four times the price, but don’t forget to bring cash!
