Delicious latte made with almond milk! A darling little spot with good treats to enjoy with coffee. Warm and welcoming staff… makes me want to go back again and again!

Well, well, well — what have we here?! I am not sure how I’ve gone so long without tripping on Nepa Café, it’s literally in my backyard pretty much. Most likely because it flies a bit under the radar — Corsham Street feels more like an alley than a real«street» and also it’s dwarfed by the massive building construction taking place right now across the street(student accommodation — yay, no). There also isn’t huge signage or anything screaming«COFFEE!» — just a small chalkboard sign outside with a few tables and chairs. And this is what makes it so nice. Unassuming, sweet and a really nice little shop to have a coffee and cake, or some really nice wraps and sandwiches at lunchtime. It’s truly the definition of «hidden gem» — right? Yes. I made a mental note to change my morning coffee routine(sorry, Igor!) for a minute, and swung by today. I was greeted warmly, served up a gorgeous flat white swiftly as the owner made pleasant small talk, greeted my son, and then we were on our way. So pleasant. I will definitely be back. If you’re staying or studying nearby, need a coffee… add this to your rotation. And in the meantime, Nepa can be added to «Old Street Coffee without the Snobbery» — ding ding ding, zing.
