Nandos is one of my favorite chains. Tho it says chicken in their name, and the chicken is pretty good, they have good veggie selection too. This branch is particularly pleasant, in a pedestrianised area, with a view over the river.

Okay, so it’s Nando’s. No big whoop.
The wings were undercooked. How the heck does that happen — everytime at every Nando’s I’ve been too?
Answer: Don’t order the wings.
The corn on the cob was dryer than the Sahara Desert — how does that happen? Never heard of grilling in butter?
Answer: Don’t order the corn on the cob
The creamy mashed potatoes were on point. Very well seasoned & yes, creamy. How did they get this right but nothing else?
Answer: The alias of this eatery is Spuds
Service was fine, although all you have to do is order & pay so no need for the servers to do very much. You even get your own cutlery & sauces. So why only one plate available when we were ready to eat?
Answer: Get a few more dishwashers in there.

This is the probably the nicest and most scenic Nando’s in existence. There’s a roof terrace with the Cutty Sark on one side and the Thames overlooking the London skyline on the other. Absolutely amazing to spend a hot summery Sunday on. Who cares what the food is like? Which is just like all Nandos — chicken, wraps, peri peri sauce standard fare. Not as spectacular as the view but will do ok. Actually might be worth coming here and just ordering the bottomless frozen yoghurt if they let you do that sort of thing.

Visited here last night for my mums birthday (her choice not ours!). We were sat downstairs but it wasn’t much cooler than what it would have been to sit outside! The place was busy and the table we were sat on was a little bit sticky. We ordered our food and it tasted just like Nandos normally does. However they forgot an order of chicken wings — we did ask and the waitress went to check, then told us it would be 5 minutes. 52 minutes later and all our other food eaten we cancelled the chicken wings. No sorry from anyone, was just told they forgot. I know its Nandos, I know what to expect but it was such rubbish service. Will give it another try and update in a few months.

As long as you like chicken with varying degrees of spicyness, it doesn’t get much better than this.
Tasty food, good service and great value for money.
Nice location next to The Cutty Sark and Greenwich Pier.
