Very bad experience. The staff seemed demotivated. No one welcomed us or invited us to take a seat. I had to ask a member of staff who rudely replied«One moment please». When I went at the counter to pay, the staff completely ignored the fidelity card I gave him and I had to insist for him to take it. Also he overfilled the coffee and barely apologised for it. The food was good as usual but what a terrible service. It would be a good idea to find out the source of the demotivation.

Standard nandos experience but not as good for a take away as the food does not stay hot in their packing… Also the chips taste pretty bad when soggy… had the whole chicken platter which is a whole chicken and 4 small sides for £20… no doubt good value for money but i feel they need to improve their packing and time taken for takeaway orders… they also did not have covers for the little sauce bowls… and offered me roll of climg film to try and put on myself… Will eat there next time!

Good food in a pinch! Solid faster food place for a different chicken experience. The piri piri sauce is a great way to consume chicken. The fact that they serve beer along with spicy chicken is big plus! I enjoyed the chargrilled veggies as a side as well. Will try the dessert and other sides on my next trip. The environment was casual and friendly despite the large number of tourists. Though there was a lack of cutlery on my floor, as well as water around the wash bowls. Solid experience and will be back.

I like this branch because of the friendly staff, location, warm scenery and fast service. I went here to treat my friend for a quick bday meal plus desserts, they were very generous with their portions which was a delight AND the staff were extremely helpful! Wonderful evening spent here with my friend. We left with a huge smile on both our faces.

My favorite casual chicken in the world. They handle everything fast despite how busy it was. Not pricey, decent food, what more can you ask?

My first time at Nandos. There are two floors. The ground floor is where the open cooking station is located. Don’t recommend sitting there unless you want to smell like smoky grilled chicken. The lower level has a bigger seating area. You order your food at the counter, give them the number of your table, and they bring the food down to your table from the grill upstairs. Yummy food without the aforementioned grilled chicken cologne. Both floors are nicely decorated. More sophisticated than the majority of restaurant chains in the US, such as Fridays and Applebees with their random crap hanging from the walls. There is a station where you can help yourself to an array of peri peri bottles, plates, utensils, and napkins. There’s a sink by the soda fountain where you can wash your savage chicken grabbing hands . I had an order of 10 lemon and herb flavored wings. It was delicious and smoky. The macho peas and creamy mash were very satisfying. I couldn’t finish my wings(they gave me a takeaway bag for the 5 I couldn’t finish). If I could do it again I would get the 5 wings combo with 2 sides My husband got a grilled chicken burger on a Portuguese roll. It was ok, but kind of bland and boring. Overall we had a very good dinner. Would’ve rounded up to a 4 if we didn’t have to wait so long for our food and if the grilled chicken was better.

Really nice spot, simple but tasty, casual and reasonable. Ask for a table, order at the counter and they bring you the food when ready. Great grilled chicken that is turned terrific when you dip in their many Piri Piri sauces … I got Hot and it was really good with nice heat but not silly. Sides were good, chips and Macho Peas. Would definitely come back.

Probably 4 ½ stars if there was that option. Recommended by a neighbor at home. Butterfly chicken with chips(fries) and cole slaw. Marinated chicken breast was just perfect– medium spice just right too. Even have wine by the glass. Order at counter and good is brought to you.

Good chicken IMHO service was good sides weren’t bad either. Price was very fair I had the extra hot chicken and the only thing I will say about that is the idea of extra hot in the uk is nothing like in the us. I’d call the extra hot mild at best

Overrated and overpriced. I had high expectations because Nandos is a widely hyped restaurant to a «non-Londoner» and I was disappointed. The chicken was not bad but for the price you don’t get what you pay for. Very friendly and conversational staff though.

This was my first time at Nando’s and the hype is justified. The Peri Peri Chicken in «hot» spice level rocks. Get the highest level spice level and you might be in trouble. For about £10 you get the Peri Peri Chicken + two sides. Service is quick. Unfortunately, my salad was a bit frozen… From the outside it looks like a sit down restaurant where a waiter comes and takes down your order. In reality, you’ve got to go to the counter in the back and put in your order, which makes Nando’s a fast food/sit down hybrid. Interesting experience but obviously much better than the KFC across the street. Beware that it can get packed on weekend nights!

Just had my first experience at Nando’s outside the US, and it was spectacular. In particular, this busy location didn’t come up short in food quality, nor prompt service. We did have to wait about 10 minutes to get a table, but the staff was very prompt in clearing the first available table for us. We got the humous and red chili pepper dip as starters. They were botb great. I recommend the humus, as it tastes freshly made and is a great way to whet your appetite. We shared a medium sauce whole chicken platter with 4 sides. As advertised, the meat was tender and tasty to the bone. That was expected, and has always been par for this restaurant chain. The sides were the real kicker here. The mashed potatoes and spicy rice were my favorites. I strongly recommend getting these sides with whatever entrée you decide upon. They were unfortunately out of wings tonight, but the employee that took our order was quite apologetic, and threw in a free appetizer as a consolation. No complaints here. I haven’t been to the order locations around London, but I can confidently say that this Baker Street location is a winner. I’ll be back here next time in London.

Solid value. The food is good for the price. I usually get the grilled chicken wrap and a couple of sides and am satisfied. They have a good variety of choices(conditional on liking chicken) and levels of hotness in their sauces. Also, the black beans side is great. The speed and quality of service is average.

This was my first time visiting Nandos, I had high expectations with many people going on how good the food is. When I went in, It was hard to explain to the person I needed Gluten Free, It was like talking to Siri on my Iphone, coming back with things completely different like Yes we have Chicken, yes we do drinks, finally I got the book(falling apart) to show what I could and could not have, I was delighted that they had Chips which were Gluten Free, these tasted great! I was really annoyed that after speaking to so many staff who were sitting me down and about my Gluten allergy, no one told me I had to go to the bar to order so I was sat their waiting for a large period of time until someone asked me had I ordered, only to be told I had to go to the bar after sitting down for a good 10 – 15 minutes. I ordered ¼ Chicken with Chips and I went on to have a Peach and Berry Iced Tea(2 different ones, not mixed), they were very nice Iced Teas, 330ml bottles and new to the menu. As I said before the Chips were nice considering they were Gluten Free, the Chicken did have some flavour but it wasn’t the best I have had so I was disappointed with everyone going on about it being really good. The Tomato Sauce Bottles were hard to use, the sauce hardly came out and when it did very little did come out. I would recommended Nando’s to those who want a change from their usual cuisine but be warned you do have to order at the bar and it isn’t as good as the people say.

I’ve always kind of hated Nando’s(probably because I generally support the underdog and everyone loves nando’s) and have been avoiding it for ages. but am eating a lot of protein at the moment so decided to come here for some reasonably cheap and tasty chicken. It was good! And very filling. I got a half chicken and 3 chicken wings to be fair.

Seating was nice. Ambiance is cool and casual. Staff was friendly. Plenty of vegetarian choice. Lots of sauces for people who like spicy. It’s a good concept to be able to get pita, wrap or Burger with your choice of protein. I tried bean pita with some fries. However, taste was average. Other people seemed to be enjoying chicken wings a lot. It’s a nice place to try for lunch, but I’d pick other Spanish or Mexican options, purely based on flavor and taste.

Had lunch from Nando’s today, and it was pretty good. Great Portuguese sauce, and the chicken was good and juicy. The slaw was mayonnaise-y. The chips were a bit soggy by the time I got it back to my office. Also, they put everything in bags. It might have been better to put it all in a take-away platter/container for easier transport. When I got to my office, I had to find a plate to put all the food in. Otherwise, I’d be eating a cooked chicken breast out of the bag — a little weird! While Nando’s was good, I wasn’t soooo impressed demanding that I go back there tomorrow. I will, however, put Nando’s in my lunch rotation, and plan on going there in the future.

Good old Nandos. Nandos is a Nandos is a Nandos. Very busy at a lunch time so either book or be prepared to wait. There is reasonable seating with places upstairs and down. Because it is busy, be prepared to queue for a bit to order. 4 of us came here with 3 of us getting our food in reasonable time and the 3rd person getting their food around 10 mins after we did even though there was food being brought out from the kitchen. There isn’t time for pleasantries from the waiting staff but, sometimes that is just Nandos. There menu seems to be getting more extensive or at least items have been added since I last came.

Like so many other Americans reviewing this Nando’s, I cannot begin to explain how much I miss this gem of a chain and its unbelievable food. Amazing chicken — my classic go-to order was an extra-hot, half chicken with sides of peri-peri chips and garlic bread. Typing out that order reminds me of just how long it’s been since I’ve had that memorable meal. I’m salivating out of pure nostalgia right now.

Yum yum yum! I second/third/fourth all the comments saying they need to bring this franchise out to the US. I’ve gotten takeout from here a few times now, and it always tastes fresh, flavorful, and(reasonably) healthy. It can end up being a bit pricey for one person’s takeout order(it’s the sides that get you!), but it’s worth it in my opinion. Gah, now I want Nando’s. Too bad it’s 10:30 in the morning…
