Found Nabru while looking for custom sofas and was impressed by their custom sofa design tool. Customer service was helpful in answering all my questions and delivery was prompt. I am extremely happy with my new sofa and will recommend to friends.

Just had my Nabru sofa delivered today(Friday) having placed my order on Tuesday which is the first great thing. Most of the points have been covered but a few things I discovered: I visited the showroom in Uxbridge(from Brighton not the shortest journey!) definitely worthwhile as I changed my mind entirely on the fabric I thought I’d wanted(opted for Espresso leather instead), went for soft seating instead of regular and went for an arm where I was going to leave one off as it doesn’t look great in my opinion without one(very glad i did!) I opted for delivery and assembly, worth every penny. Got a confirmation email the day before delivery, rang up to see if they had a time slot. The driver rang me back and said I was a morning delivery so probably 9−10am. True to this word he rang at 9:15ish to say he was an hour away and he was here by 10:30. I helped him carry some parts in and then he got on constructing! One thing I didn’t realise was if you order assembly the cushions come with the covers on and your pieces aren’t shrink wrapped on a pallet(which seems to be the cause of many problems with broken/missing parts). It took him about 45 mins to build the sofa which I’m very happy with as it would have taken me far longer just to figure out the parts and instructions! Other tips: I went for the metal legs which do look good and come pre attached. Didn’t bother with the storage trays as others have said you can just utilise the space inside anyway as long as you don’t mind the items sitting on your floor. My advice: Pay the money for assembly if it’s available to you and visit the showroom if you aren’t 100% sure on the fabric. Believe me they look very different on a whole sofa as opposed to a 1 inch square sample! Very happy with the sofa and the delivery and assembly. Highly recommended!

Advantages, you can design your own sofa on-line and choose colours etc. These sofas arrive on a huge shrink wrapped pallet, the frame is just basically pieces of mdf that lock together a bit like a kids play set Everything has to be assembled by yourself, problem with this being that the instructions are poor and difficult to follow. I’m an experienced craftsman and did not find it easy. These sofas are not cheap mainly due to the many good deals at other«proper» furniture companies such as SCS. This has to be one of the most expensive mistakes we have ever made, almost £560 for a pile of MDF, some lumps of foam and some material to cover it all. Any furniture in our house has to be hardwearing and this has failed miserably, after only 6 months nearly all the back cushions have lost their shape and the base cushions are all lumpy. We have now cut our losses and awaiting delivery of a properly manufactured sofa from SCS.
