This is the CHILLEST coffee establishment I’ve ever attended. The owner(whos name is slipping my mind) is a twenty something chill human with such in depth knowledge of coffee-and he doesn’t flaunt it or even care. He just stands in that horribly small coffee shop under a stairwell and pumps out the most delicious espresso drinks with a manual espresso machine. I loved the short 30 mins I was able to chat with him and drink two cortados. No wifi– but you shouldn’t be sitting in here anyways considering the space is slightly enough room for a few individuals to stand. Have a chat with the barista and learn about coffee.

Just a few blocks north of Oxford circus this little gem of a coffee place is well hidden on a side street off Regent Street. It is run by two experienced baristas who really know their coffee. It is a tiny place(3 seats inside and a bench outside) so much of the business is take out. The menu is simple and straightforward. Everything on there is £3(espresso, espresso with milk and filter) and made on order. The coffee is from reputable German roaster JB coffee(same as Rapha often use) so quality of the beans is great and since they know how to make coffee the result is top notch. Service is friendly and it is nice to have a seat and chat a bit about coffee. There is no food so if you are after other things than coffee then this place may not be for you. I am a fan and it is nice to have a good place for coffee in this area as well. Drawback is that they are only open weekdays but as the guys work elsewhere as well(you can sometimes find them at Espresso Room or Prufrock) that is understandable. I will definitely stop by more times.
