Business Owner

Miracolo is the dream child of Michael Haile. Since 2001 Michael Haile has been working as a social policy and political researcher mostly in Italy but also in the UK. His work has led him to research and explore the foundations and history of social and political institutions in Italy and Europe, which mainly derive from the medieval period. Michael has also travelled extensively around Italy as a researcher which led him to explore the provenance and the miraculous heritage of Italian cuisine, a research also inspired by Massimo Montanari, the great Italian historian who teaches history of food and alimentation at the University of Bologna and Jaques Le Goff, the most knowledgeable medieval historian to have ever lived.

In establishing miracolo, Michael was also helped by his wife Rita, who was instrumental in helping in the research and development of the concept. Rita, together with Michael and Aida Haile and the artist Gill Hickman (who’s beautiful and warm paintings adorn the w
