Mile End American Pool & Snooker

I used to come here quite a bit when I was elligible for the student discount. Located pretty much next to Queen Mary university this place certainly used to be a favourite amongst its students though I’m not sure if this is the case anymore. As well as students this place always has a steady stream of locals through its doors.
With the option of American or English pool or full size snooker tables I usually opted for the pool. The place feels really dingy but in a good smoky sort of way, you can imagine hustlers making their way between tables. Drinks here are also fairly cheap and they have a decent selection. I’ve yet to try the food though it is apprently available.
Good way to wile away the afternoon.
