History

Established in 2004.

Lydia Hepworth, Classical guitarist has been performing for 18 years, since the age of 8. She regularly performs at top London venues such as the Four Seasons Hotel and Queens house, Greenwich.

Lydia has a Masters degree in performance from Trinity Laban College of Music and Dance and is based in London, although she is happy to travel.

Lydia has extensive experience in playing at weddings and events, and has an eclectic repertoire that can be tailored to suit your event perfectly, in close consultation with you.

Lydia began studying the Classical Guitar at a young age with Alexander Levtov at the Regis School of Music in Sussex. She went on to win the first West Dean Summer School scholarship, and following this gained a place at the Royal College of Music Junior Department to study with Charles Ramirez. She went on to study for a BA (hons.) in Music and English at the University of Leeds, and is currently working for her Masters in Classical Guitar performance at Trinity Laban College of Music and Dance, studying under Graham Devine, from which will graduate in September 2012. She has also taken lessons and master classes with various guitarists including Mark Ashford, Craig Ogden, Gary Ryan, John Mills, Pavel Steidl, Graham Wade and Eleftheria Kotzia. Throughout this time the Ogden Trust has generously supported her studies.
