Lupa

This place is infuriating.
No denying they do good pizza, but prices are high at £16 a pop, and once you’re into that price point I expect perfection.
Unfortunately the last 2 times I’ve ordered from Lupa the pizza has arrived cold which rather detracts from the enjoyment. I don’t live far away so can only assume they have delivery drivers doing multiple drops at once and poor quality heat bags.

Discovered this gem for the handy location as my mates have just moved to the area. We were in need of speedy takeaway before a long car journey north so I volunteered to pick something up while he finished packing.
A great move by me as it turned out, given the yummy smells wafting around as soon as you go in! Also nice and cosy inside thanks to the massive wood-​fired oven at the back. There’s a small bit of of bar-​style seating by the window so I ordered then nabbed myself a wooden stool to people-​watch outside.
We went for a large Funghi Di Bosco — which was very large, and very funghi. By which I mean the truffley smells from within almost knocked me out as I carried the box back to the flat. Luckily I’m a truffle fan and it tasted great, with a nicely wood-​fired thin crust and good topping-​to-​base ratio :)
Would defo recommend to anyone in the area — nice smiley lady on the till and my wait was only about 10mins. They had a buy one get one half price (BOGOHP?!) offer on, and takeaway prices turned out to be lower than those stated on the menu in the window anyway which (along with the pizza being bigger than expected) was a v nice surprise!

Fantastic quality pizzas cooked to order.

I discovered this Pizza place a couple of years ago now. I was at a friends house party and needed something to eat and he handed me a pizza leaflet. I ordered the Funghi di Bosco — Mozzarella, truffle paste, mushrooms… delicious! I have ordered from them everytime I fancied a pizza since and am never disappointed!
You can order over the phone or online so you can order in advance which is handy for planning a night in with the girls ;)

Good quality wood-​fired pizzas, I’d like a little more fresh basil, but the dough’s good, the quality of the tomato sauce base is good and the cheese is good (all good then!)
Much better than many other take away pizzas I’ve tried, recommended.

Just got the new menu — looks great! Had a salame Piccante and a Buffalina. Hot on time and just delicious! Tiramisu is really good. They are not as fast as Domino’s but its in a different league. I had a Basilico a few days ago and it wasnt bad but this was actually a lot better — and cheaper! Hopefully they will maintain this standard

Really really lovely take away pizza, has really good quality and fresh ingrediants. They text you when the pizzas are on the way so you know when to expect them. Usual offer is buy one get one half price. Highly recommend

Best takeaway pizza I’ve ever had. I recommend the four cheeses with yummy caramelised onion chutney.

Best tasting pizza delivery in crouch end by a mile. Downside — also the most expensive, but worth it.
