Delicious fish & chips! And portions so big, I’m pretty sure they served me the great white whale. We were able to sit outdoors on the night before Halloween, so it was great for people watching. The drink selection is very limited, with nothing on tap, only bottled beer and only a few of those. My friend had shepherd’s pie, which he said was very good, but I didn’t try it so I’ll take his word for it. Overall, despite the limited beer selection, we were very happy with our meal and the excellent service.

The restaurant has a decent environment, but the food was only satisfactory. The pasta was alright but the pizza was not as good. Service was alright, but I felt like there are many better restaurants at this price level,

It’s a cute restaurant and the waitress was very kind and helpful. The meals are very big and tasty . I don’t give 5 stars cause I ordered a meal without onions but I got the whole meal with onions.

Food is quite good but pricey for what you get. Fish and chips portion size is generous but pasta portion is not. The house red wine is not a good choice. Nice atmosphere.

The food is really tasty I had pan fried king prawns for starter and bolognese penne pasta as a main and both were delicious

With my luck, I got speedy for a server. Only problem was he brought my salad and pasta at the same time. So eat salad and get cold pasta, or eat pasta and salad after? Agree with other reviewers. Pasta was meh!

It would be hard to find food that was worse in London. Ate with a friend, ordered the Succulent Beef Pot. The meat was absolutely inedible. It could not be chewed. Both of us ate about 20% of our food, told the waiter the food was awful — he gave us a 10%discount. We paid and left. My friend is Gluten Intolerant, we asked the waiter if this dish could be made for him and he went into the kitchen to ask. He assured us the chef said it would be without Gluten. About 45 minutes after eating my friend got very sick and explained to me that the meal had to have gluten, this was a reaction he has had before when accidently eating gluten. The server was pleasant but the meal was not… never again.

Les pâtes sont bonnes, l’accueil très bien(notamment une adorable serveuse parlant français) et il y a de l’espace pour manger. Très belle deco, endroit reposant. A refaire

Below average food. Very bad service. It felt like they put the bare minimum effort in and try to have a high customer turnover to make $$. Getting people in and out. No atmosphere.

Food was very good but don’t go here if you have someplace to go, the service is so slow, especial Ly for a smallish restaurant. After a good 45 minute wait, the entrees came out but the appetizers never showed. The waiter was apologetic he forget to enter them, but he didn’t write down our orders. He did take off the service charge, but I’m not one to leave without tipping.

Slow Service and Good Food — not a good mix The London Street Brasserie is connected to the Hotel Indigo near Paddington and provides their restaurant and bar service. Since I was staying at the hotel, I had both breakfast and dinner here. Start with the breakfast. Hellloooo — can anyone help me??? Slow service marred the experience here. The breakfast was tasty enough — a typical english breakfast(which must be experienced once), plus a decent pot of tea will set you back ten quid. Note that the little corner deli café one block away does the same thing for half the price. The place was busy for dinner. All I can say here is «uninspired». It was an eclectic mix of dishes with no real theme. They market themselves as «British» and there are some classics, like fish and chips(soggy fish not good, but the chips were nice and crispy). Then they have some not so classic dishes that wander all over the map. The bar list for drinks is limited, but there is a pub not ten steps away, so this wasn’t really an issue. Overall, meh! There are better places close by.

Great relaxed atmosphere. Nice slow start to an early morning. The breakfast combo was good. The oatmeal/porridge was divine-a very generous portion of creamy and not to sweet breakfast cereal.
