I can’t claim to be a connoisseur of south Korean food, as this is the only time I have ever had it, but I am a huge fan of their Bibim bap! Excellent value for money too, around £7.50 a main and they do a lunch time special as well. The location is great, on the Victoria end of Vauxhall Bridge road, and they always seem to have tables available. The cucumber kimchee also comes highly recommended!

We were in the area and searching for Korean restaurants. First tip is that it’s often hard to find good eats in Victoria, period. Second tip is that this place serves an average at best take on authentic Korean food. One starter, main and tea will set you back £20. The service is friendly and fast. The food leaves much to be desired.

Wonderful place for good Korean food. The staff are friendly, welcoming and warm. The food portion is big and authentic. A nice hole in the wall eatery which can be easily missed if you are not observant.

I got takeaways, and it was overall average. First, a few updates: they accept cash only, and they deliver only through Deliveroo. Had to go through a few hoops because of these factors. When we brought our food back, things were good and in healthy portions, but I felt nothing was a stand-out. To be fair, food generally tastes better when you have it at the restaurant, but even accounting for such, I felt like I’ve had better Korean food in London. When we walked in to pick up our food, it seemed like it’s an overall casual ambience inside — probably good for a quick Korean fix, but nothing fancy. If you’re around Victoria, by all means give it a try, but don’t get your hopes up too much.

We were visiting London and wanted to get some Korean food so I looked on Unilocal to find a Korean restaurant close to our hotel, which was the Conrad London St. James. Luckily we found this place which was only about a 15 minute walk away. It was easy to find a directly across the street from the Wicked show. We had a beef stone pot Bibimbap and the Budae Jigae which is a soup dish with some meat and noodles. Everything was very good, but a bit different from the Korean restaurants we go to in the States or Korea. The most noticeable difference is that there were no side dishes or condiments like Kim Chee and other vegetables that came with the meal. Washed everything done with a couple of Hite beers and left happy and full.

Excellent food. Always. I have been here a few times now and have always been a happy customer. The service is fast, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Even if you aren’t a fan of hot stone bowls I highly recommend the bibim baps. They could however beef up the dessert menu.

Great food at a very reasonable price with friendly service. Went there at the prime Friday-night dining time but the waiters managed to get us a table and get the order out in record time. The dumplings were tasty, the spicy squid is a must have and then the main: Beef Bibimbap. Beautifully presented, full of flavour and utterly filling. The excellent bowl of miso works very well too! Definitely wash things down with a crisp, refreshing Hite beer. Top work, Lime Orange… My favourite Korean this side of Seoul. Dinner for two(inc, starters, mains, drinks, and service £40)

We’ve been on the hunt for the best Korean restaurant in London. A friend had recommended Lime Orange and we had to check it out. Food: We ordered the tofu kimchee and kampoonggi for starters. They were both delicious. They deep fry the tofu in the tofu kimchee which was a nice change to the original tofu kimchee dishes. The kampoonggi which is breaded, deep fried chicken with spicy chilli sauce was very yummy! It had a nice kick to it. We ordered the pork and beef bulgogi BBQ for our entrees. They were both simple and good. We also ordered two sides of rice and a side of kimchee. Drinks: We ordered one diet coke. Price: 40.90GBP for two people. Ambiance: No ambiance. Just a simple room of tables. Service: The son of the owner was front of the house the night we were there. He was very friendly and helpful. Would I go back? Yes! For simple Korean food, reasonable prices and friendly service, it’s one of my faves in London so far.

Much to my surprise, this place has really good Korean food. I work nearby and this is my go to for reliable good food. I’d say I probably go there once every other week if not more frequent. They offer a large variety of Korean food, tofu seafood soup, bibimbap, short ribs, etc. Everything I tried so fas has been really delicious. What I love most about this place is that they offer daily lunch special for only 3.99, which is very cheap by London standard. It is one of my favourite lunch places in the area.

Saturday night in London Town, Feeling chatty, but not in the mood to wild out, Upon invitation joined a friend for din, Surprised me with a wonderful choice, Korean. Korean?! Yes, I say. And to Lime Orange near Victoria we did foray. Nondescript entrance so initially we walked past. But don’t let that fool you, cause expectations were surpassed. Dear Unilocaler, my experience with K-cuisine is slim. All I knew was Kimchee, please forgive if that sounds dim. My ex-boyfriend kept jars of it in his fridge. This intriguing fermented cocktail? Never tried it, not even a smidge. But back to the review at hand, didn’t know what to expect. But the food at LO was so good, checked like I got beat in chess! Ambiance minimalist, cool, clean and calm. Wooden décor, with soft lighting and various mirrors on the wall. Dinner companion noticed that one was cracked. We joked that he caused it, and had a laugh. (Absolutely no chance of that). But what is the story, wonder about that? And as for the service? A special, following paragraph. We were given the window seat. Which we thought could be cold, but it was spacious and pretty sweet. And my, the food, the food! So delicious, compliments to the owner and chef, what a dude. Dinner Companion selected the spicy chicken bulgogi. Which was my fav, I suffered from a slight case of food envy. The above, to be eaten with steamed rice in a lettuce wrap. Perfect accompaniment to my hot stone pot chicken bibimbap. The wife of the owner was so welcoming and kind. She was lovely, and had a twinkle in her eye. Very service-orientated, seated us, Why yes, she most kindly treated us. But that’s just the beginning, she didn’t leave us to our own devices. After our food was served, she guided us, plated it and mixed the rice and spices! Much to my shame, I did not try the Kimchee. Don’t know how that could have escaped me?! Perhaps I was just too busy enjoying the polite company. And wolfing down my starter served with chili sauce, breaded calamari. Dear Unilocaler, I urge you next time. When you’re in the vicinity of Victoria, try Lime. Great dishes, menu diversity. You won’t regret it take it from me. Plus they also offer take away, if it is rainy and you feel lazy. Sleek metal chopsticks also a nice touch. Though I’m accustomed to the wooden ones, and as such, Wasn’t able to impress my fellow guest with my ChopSkills. They were too slippery, so I had to use a spoon(Oh if looks could kill). So, Fair Unilocaler if you’ve got an itch. Tired of Pret and Itsu won’t cut it? Orange is behind the Apollo Victoria, where they’re showing Wicked. But if you’re driving, don’t park in the bus lane cause you might get a ticket.

Simply bland food. As a Korean, I was excited at the thought of having access to Korean food close to where I live. Having said that, I was really disappointed with the flavours! To begin with, the pajun dish just didn’t taste authentic enough. It almost tasted as though they’ve added cinnamon to their pajun mixture which was rather odd. The seafood soft tofu soup was absolutely bland– soup base simply didn’t have the ‘dam-baek-han’ flavour which perhaps could be due to the quality of the ingredients they are using. Unfortunately, I will not be going back!

This place is consistently good. Just came back and had the kimchee fried tofu as a starter, that is worth trying…

So far the best Korean food I have had in London. Lime Orange is quite non descript from the outside(and inside) and their cheap lunch prices would seem off putting… but dinner was great! We had the mixed BBQ grill and were definitely not disappointed. Prices were quite reasonable(though damn you London for thinking that customers should pay for Kimchi. BLASPHEMY!!!) Blew away all the places in Golder’s Green and Swiss Cottage. Check it ahhttt. Wish it was closer so I could go for lunch!
