Lesley Craze Gallery (established in 1984) in Clerkenwell Green, London is an internationally recognised showcase for contemporary jewellery, metalwork and textiles.

Our collections encompass work from 100 highly skilled and talented artists from around the world.

The gallery has an innovative events programme with exhibitions showcasing the work of emerging talent, highlighting the excellence of established designers or examining various techniques and materials.

History

Established in 1984.

With a previous premises on Essex Road, London (1984), Lesley Craze Gallery moved to and opened in Clerkenwell Green, London (1988).

The gallery has represented a vast selection of makers and designers, hosting regular exhibitions alongside our permanent collection of mixed-​media and precious metal work.

Clerkenwell Green is quite a haven for arts & craft in London with both the Lesley Craze Gallery and the Craft Central buildings nearby. The Gallery focuses on a wide variety of inspired jewellery and textiles with an equally wide variety of prices (some pieces are very expensive). Nothing in the Gallery is run of the mill. All the pieces are made by artists/​artisans are far from run of the mill. If you like original and unusual pieces (both in terms of shapes, sizes, materials used, etc), then this is for you. The space is lovely also –spacious and light so one is free to properly admire things. However, I must admit that the staff is always rather cold and standoffish, which can come across as snooty. Maybe they’re just being polite, I don’t know, but they’re my least favourite part of this gallery
