Ran in here the other day trying to avoid a rain storm. Sat down and ordered a pot of tea to avoid the rain. Great little spot, plenty of room, chairs and tables outside(for when the weather looks better than it did). Only ordered their carrot cake, which was pretty strong(not blow your hair back stuff), but good enough to have two slices at the time(although you could argue the weather was helping that decision). Would certainly stop by again given the chance.

I swung by here for an English breakfast and was really disappointed. My friend and I were the first customers of the morning, yet the mushrooms I was served as part of my breakfast were inedible: hard, almost as though they’d been re-fried after having already been cooked(the previous day?). The rest of my £5 breakfast was bland or so-so: a poor quality sausage, some baked beans, a fried egg and a quarter of toast. My friend’s yogurt and muesli looked better, but still, the inedible mushrooms — a real rarity for me — seal 1 star infamy for Le Tea Cosy. There are many other places on Regent’s Park Road that serve breakfast & brunch. I’d strongly suggest going there over Le Tea Cosy.

This is a cute place… I sat next to Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale a few years ago! It is great for coffee, the small tables outside make you feel like in a bistro in France. It’s great! Just a shame that the food does not seem more appealing… that’s why I didn’t try it.

This quaint little café on Regent’s Park Road is probably the cheapest eats you’ll find in Primrose Hill and only feet from the park itself. They have your standard sandwiches and cakes, and you can get a cream tea there for about £5(although very strangely they substitute whipped cream for clotted cream). The café itself is nice and quiet and very bright thanks to the massive windows, but it’s nicer to sit outside on a spring day as the road doesn’t get too crazy. Personally, I like getting their frozen yoghurt stirred up with fresh fruit for take away and taking a walk up the hill to enjoy the view.
