We serve quality teas and coffees to wake you up in the morning — available to takeaway — or have in our bright, beautiful and recently renovated café, alongside our breakfast menu, freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries and bacon butties.

Lunch is more of a French bistro affair, with daily changing market specials and the long time favourite Cote de Boeuf with delicious frites and béarnaise. Good monthly changing wine list.

Café Rendezvous is available to hire privately in the evenings, perfect for small dinner parties of up to 30 people with its own chef and waiting staff.

History

Established in 1986.

Café Rendezvous is petit frère to the Le Café du Marche, a long established French restaurant in Smithfield, opened by Charlie Graham-​Wood. It offers a more casual dining experience with a cheaper a la carte menu. Situated just round the corner on Charterhouse Street the two restaurants are linked together, both physically and by the outstanding culinary repertoire of the business’ head chef who has been working at the restaurant for over 25 years.
