Specialties
Chic and contemporary dining in fashionable Marylebone that allows you to savour beautiful food in an unpretentious environment. The restaurant has an air of contemporary chic, with rose wood tables, wooden floors and linen napkins to complete the simplicity.
The cuisine and techniques employed are far from simple. Imaginative dishes burst with exciting flavours and are presented with precision — almost as works of art. The young, professional team have mainly learnt their trade at sister restaurant Pied à Terre and will expertly guide you through the various menus including vegetarian menus and complementing wines.
We also offer private dining for up to 16 guests which is the perfect way to celebrate an occasion with friends, family or colleagues. During the summer months, enjoy our outdoor seating area where you can watch the world go by.
History
Established in 2007.
L’Autre Pied, the sister restaurant of highly acclaimed Pied à Terre, is an independently owned gastronomic restaurant located in fashionable Marylebone, London W1.
Its doors opened in late 2007 with Marcus Eaves at the helm. Within its first year, the restaurant received a string of accolades, including Square Meal’s «Best New Restaurant» Spring 2008; Time Out Eating and Drinking Award «Best New Restaurant 2008»; and the UK Good Food Guide «Upcoming Chef of 2008».
Following Marcus Eaves’s departure in June 2011 to sister restaurant Pied à Terre, at the helm of the L’Autre Pied kitchen came the talented Andy McFadden who, in keeping with tradition, was also mentored at Pied à Terre. In October 2015, following Andy McFadden’s appointment as Head Chef at Pied à Terre, Graham Long, another Pied à Terre alumnus, was named as Head Chef at L’Autre Pied.
