We specialise in grills. Breast of chicken and poussain marinated and grilled, minced lamb, fillet of lamb, lamb chops and fillet of venison all marinated differently to bring out the actual taste. Pomegranate stew with breast of duck or breast of chicken and more dishes are served at Kandoo absolutely fresh. We have been able to keep our regulars for the last 15 years I’ve been at Kandoo Persian Cuisine. Please check our reviews on the net.

History

Established in 1999.

15 years ago, it was like yesterday, I took over this place. It had been closed for 7 years before I started there. It took the builders about 4 months to finish the decoration. A lot of famous people come to Kandoo. I think Woody Allen is the most famous who’s been to Kandoo. Anyway lots of good memories at Kandoo Persian Cuisine. One thing that has changed has been the colour of my hair. It was black then and grey now. But the nicest thing I’ve experienced during the last 15 years is that couples used to come to Kandoo as boyfriend and girlfriend and then get married and now come with their kids.

I’ve been in catering business almost all my life. I love cooking and like the challenge of making good food. I probably stay in restaurant business and carry on seeing people who come to dine and celebrate. That makes me happy.
