History

Established in 2001.

Jeffery and Wilkes Building Contractors Ltd was set up by Jon Jeffery & Greg Wilkes back in March 2001. Jon Jeffery was an experienced roofer and Greg Wilkes was an experienced and fully qualified carpenter. They merged together to become loft conversion specialists.

They soon gained a reputation for competitive prices and quality built lofts. As the demand for their services grew, mostly based upon word of mouth recommendations, they gradually expanded with the philosophy that the best and most loyal employees were ones trained as apprentices. Working alongside the Construction Industry Training Board they employed and trained new recruits, who were all molded to their style and way of working. After years of intensive training & education, they now have a fantastic team of employees.
