Great little Thai place friendly and really tasty food, very different style of food to Esarn Kheaw on the Uxbridge Road but both are very good. Shepherds Bush is well served by family run Thai restaurants, that are reasonably priced. Leave Westfields with the chains and those of us in the know can enjoy great food at a reasonable price

Delicious authentic Thai food with lots of flavour and very good value for money lunch menu where each main is just £5.95. Nice interiors that make you feel like you are in Thailand and not in the middle of Shepherds Bush! Very clean bathrooms too. Nice change from the usual Westfield chain restaurants that we would always go to as well. Staff are also very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be coming here again!

Good Pad Thaï. Service was average. Prices are OK.

When I want to sit down and have a hot meal I won’t forget this place. It’s never crowded and the Lightning is good for me. Once in a while I have a pad Thai here and I throughly enjoy it because I can rewind and be comfortable.

I have never written a review of a restaurant before, but felt compelled because it was that good. The service was impeccable, great prices, and even made my favourite dish for me «pad see ew» which is not on the menu. Have walked by it twice a day every day for about a year and am so glad I finally went inside. Will be back again and again!

Excellent. We ordered beef panang, which is a rich red coconut curry, the duck fried wok, the chicken green curry, a tom yam and a chicken soup, with sides of coconut rice. Everything was outstanding, it would be impossible to pick a favorite. The coconut rice is a must, it was perfect cooked and a wonderful complement to the flavor-full, delicately cooked dishes we ordered.

I discovered this place because I didn’t want to go Westfield again with their chain restaurants and stores. So I came here for lunch and now I can’t stop coming back. I had their food three times in one week. Not only is their lunch menu super affordable(any main is £5.95), but it’s so delicious. In the beginning I always got either their chicken pad-thai or chi chu red salmon main, but I recently tried their yellow curry chicken with coconut rice and it was unbelievable. I also had their fresh spring rolls for dinner too and it was so good… all drenched in duck sauce goodness. All my colleagues also now come here and sooner or later my whole company will be their main clientele. Best thai in Shepherds Bush for sure!

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Jasmine Thai worked just fine for us. Called to make a booking for last Friday night and we were all set. I’d recommend a booking as we were seated at a roomy four top and not your standard two top, though it was not a crowded dining room at all. They gave us time to kick around the menu and then stepped over when they noticed we were ready. Dim sum starter, ginger and garlic shrimp for the lady, red curry beef for me and a side of veggies to share. We liked everything that we ate, a lot of shrimp and beef in the dishes. Things were middle of the road spicy and we could probably go for them to be a bit spicier. That minor gripe aside, it was a great meal. Service was polite and efficient in a non intrusive way. Not even the wanker chef seated near us that berated his poor server like he fancied himself Gordon Ramsey could derail this fine meal. Get over yourself chef, no complaints at all here.

Visited Jasmine Thai twice based on reviews on the internet. However, I did not find the food as amazing as the reviews implied. Coming from the South East Asian region, I never find Thai food in London spicy or fragrant enough anyway. The food is good, but not memorable, and a little on the pricey side for a Goldhawk Road establishment. The only dish I remembered ordering was their sticky rice(which had a lovely texture to it and the right amount of stickiness). Ambience wise, quite comfortable. Food was presented beautifully and I loved how they folded their napkins to look like Darth Vader(which I did not think was intentional). Would I come back? Maybe.

I cook a lot of Thai food myself so don’t then to eat out Thai but today I was at a gathering at Jasmine. They put a buffet on of dishes from the northeast of Thailand papaya salad, sticky rice, spicy minced pork salad(larb), grilled chicken, Isarn sausages, and chicken noodle soup. It was all so delicious.

This is indeed a very nice restaurant, but the location on the Qype map is way off, down in Hammersmith. It’s actually in SheBu. (Please fix and remove this comment.)

Very nice location with great and very helpful staff and good quality thai food for a fair price. It might get busy on weekend evenings but they also offer home delivery service so no need for queueing anymore.

I live locally and have never eaten inside the restaurant, so I can’t comment on décor, atmosphere anything like that but the food is great. The Tom Yum soup is the best I’ve had. Piquant is the perfect word here. All the food I’ve ever had from here has been great and it makes me glad to live in the area. I’ve converted my girlfriend to Thai food by getting food from here.

I have to say I count myself very lucky to live in Shepherds Bush on account of this great value, great quality Thai restaurant. I was actually told about this restaurant by someone I met in Rome when I mentioned I was going to move to Shepherds Bush in 2003. Since then it’s been a fixture, both to eat in or order take away. Thai cooking is a real favourite of mine and I would say that Jasmine can hold its own against even the really expensive restaurants like Mango Tree and other great mid-range restaurants like Busabaeathai. It’s worth getting the selection of starters and then, I have eaten and enjoyed every mouthful of the following: Yellow Curry, Jungle Curry, Red Curry, Green Curry, Chuchi Pla(spiced roast trout), Sea On Fire(fiercely spicy seafood dish), and many of the noodle dishes too. The sticky rice is great and they have a decent selection of beers if eating in. Never had a complaint about this place– and it beats the other Thai places in the postcode hands down.

Love it. Really good quality thai food, excellent beers — they have singha — and lovely staff. The décor is cute, and I love the metal plates they have! Go for the fishcakes and satay chicken(or the starter platter), it’s just awesome. I do tend to stick to the dishes I love, I know — boring, but their pad nam krap pao is wicked! It’s so good, my dad tried to get them to cater for his wedding(sadly it never came together). Go here! it’s great! mmm ok I need to stop reviewing restaurants. i’m hungry!

Been here many times and during lunchtimes you might struggle to get a table. Lunch menu is £6 and has 16 meat, 9 vegetarian(all served with rice) and 5 noodle dishes. Recommend chicken massamann(or panang!) or pad thai chicken noodles but you can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu and I’m gradually working my way through it! Fishing boat is another good one as is chu chi fish. Plenty of food there for a lunchtime meal with an emphasis on quality — fresh produce seems to get delivered every day around 1.30 including saturdays! No problems serving tap water either which gets regularly topped up. There are other eateries around the bush but this is probably the best for quality letting the others concentrate on price or quantity.

Esarn Kheaw was not yet open and we had a hankering for a lovely bit of Thai, so we trundled down Lime Grove to sample the Goldhawk Road’s equivalent restaurant. It was great! A bit classier than the Uxbridge Road offering, the décor is swanky in a Thai kitsch way. Carved wooden furniture and woven placemats. The menu is very accessible(you know sometimes you can get completely overwhelmed by a menu) and the prices are extraordinary value. The food was great. Thai fish cakes were lush, red chicken curry was also lush. Sticky rice was sticky. A great meal. A great price. A great place.

Was there several times now and is is consistently really good food and great value. The produce used seems fairly high quality and definitely always very fresh. The flavors of the various dishes are fabulous, not to spicy for westerners palates but spicy and tasty enough to give it a real authentic, interesting taste. One of the best dishes served are Salmon Chu Chi Pla, the salmon, crispy roasted on the skin is served in red curry sauce with basil leaves(see image above). This with steamed rice is a dinner by itself. But because I tend to over-order, we always get 2 mains and a side main, Salmon, Green Thai curry chicken, steamed rice and a portion of Pad Thai noodles. A friend(who was in Thailand for 3 months) says they are the most authentic tasting Pad Thai he has had in London so far. I have never been there, so no idea, but I can tell if something tastes good, and they taste damn good. Not to mention the salmon, the curries and more. A pleasant neighborhood restaurant, decorated in über kitsch style Thai, with Thai bling bling bling music and all Thai really super friendly no attitude waitresses wearing traditional gear. The starters such as Spring Rolls or Sate skewers are around £3−5 and mains come at its high at max £10. The only serious downside is the smell in the restaurant. Depending on the weather there can be an odor of sewage in some spots of the restaurant. I dont envy the owners for this problem, I am sure they cant do a lot about it and know about it. The restaruant also offers home delivery service!
