I like the design and friendly staff but that’s about it — the food is not good. Tried the chicken and coconut noodle soup — for almost £5 the portions are super small — would be worth it if it was good but the soup was thin, oddly more vinegar tasting with no coconut flavor despite what the menu said. The chicken was tender and cooked well. The glass noodles were meh — thin and too stretchy in texture. Broth oddly flavored. Overall not what I expected.

So this was the 2nd of my fast food sushi taste off day. I got a few pieces of sushi and a chicken teriyaki. The salmon sushi was tasty and the teriyaki was just ok. The teriyaki flavour was there but the chicken was just bits of fat — gross. The rice was nice but not enough to save the dish overall. I will give Itsu 3 stars because I’ve had the sushi and sashimi before and it was alright. Nothing earth shattering and certainly not top notch but an alright alternative for lunch.
