Established in 1969.

HTA Design LLP — A multi-​disciplinary design consultancy. HTA became a Limited Liability Partnership in April 2013 led by a stable management team with a first class client list and track record. The practice looks forward to steady growth in the recovering housing market, trading on its unprecedented haul of design awards picked up for recent work in the last year.

Four new partners joined the board of 13 people under Ben Derbyshire’s leadership as Managing Partner. The change reflects the practice’s continuing development as a multidisciplinary design practice with a focus on Placemaking.

Over the last 40 years, the practice has grown to become one of the leading specialists in housing design, pioneering techniques of community architecture, social research and placemaking.
