Honest Burgers

One of the best burger I never had in my life! The burger extras really add some fantastic flavours and the apple and beetroot salad was lovely. Firendly helpful staff. I can see why it was so busy.

These burgers, fries, and onion rings are easily some of the best I have ever had in my life.
The burgers were juicy gourmet style burgers with various high-​end ingredients like smoked ketchup and onion relish. My wife was only going to heat half and then bring it home, but the next thing I knew her burger was GONE.
The rosemary fries were really good.
The star of the night, however, had to be the annis-​enriched beer batter onion rings. We LOVE onion rings and consider ourselves conniseurs of such. These were the best freaking onion rings I’ve ever had in my life. It is a small order of only 4 large onion rings for 3.5, but that is my only complaint. I would have ordered at least two more orders!
I also really enjoyed this Iceland white ale they had.
All in all — an awesome meal.

Me and my friend were walking by this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We entered this burger holy land with empty stomachs and full of hope. As we sat down on the throne of the burger gods we knew we were in store for a delightful lunch. We ordered the house special. As I looked up from the throne of burger gods I was sitting on I saw this golden bunned and juicy burger sitting infront of me. The meat was oozing juices like the finest nectar of the lands. As I caressed the burger the bun was glowing like the most beautiful sun I have ever seen. As I bit into the burger my taste buds exploded with delight. It was like I died and was being revived by the magical power of this burger. I would travel back to London just to eat at this magical burger joint.

I love Honest Burger. Even though it’s a chain now, it’s a pretty fantastic chain.
The Honest Burger is a burger done to perfection, with rosemary chips and just a bit of condiments. I love a good burger, honestly, and this is honestly a good burger. Honest! Is it’s the best burger ever? No, sadly, but it’s still pretty damn good.
The beer selection could be improved, but if you’re here for just the beer you’re making a huge mistake.
Get the honest burger. Get some chips. Especially for the price, it’s pretty amazing.

Had the honest burger, special and the ipa. Burgers are mediocre at best, not sure what we’re excited about here but it was just ok for us. Decent meat and meh toppings, nothing exciting or creative with a large wait. Staff was excellent and accommodating.

Tasty burgers the meat was so tasty and cooked to perfection the fries were yummy and freshly cooked it was just over all very tasty although the place was quite small it was totally worth it (:

The meat is delicious, the fries are crispy, the terrace on a sunny day is lovely ! The staff is super nice and of very good advise.
Try their Hawaiian beer, it has a passion fruit twist which is to die for !

I’d say if you’re looking for a good burger, Honest Burgers is a failsafe option. Now, on the other hand, if you’re a burger-​obsessed fiend with crazy high standards on this comfort-​food favourite, I’d still say it’s fine, but you may be ever so slightly underwhelmed if you’ve come here based on the general hype that these are «the best burgers ever».
I don’t really have much to say about this place other than that the food was good, the prices were fair, there was a good selection of burgers on the menu catering to all food eaters, our waitress was lovely and considering how busy it is, you don’t have to wait too long for your food (if you don’t count the waiting time to queue to get in that is!)
My only criticism is that if you’re a gin lover and happen to order one of the gin-​based drinks, don’t get your hopes up too much, they’re fairly average-​tasting.

Literally the best beef burger I ever had!!! Service is also good. Anybody who passes by should have a try. Won’t disappoint you.

wonderful décor and great music (not too loud) playing. friendly staff and reasonable prices.
i got an honest burger with rosemary fries, it arrived quickly and it was absolutely delicious. the fries were unique and the burger was bursting with flavour. I highly recommend

Ah, Honest Burgers, how I love you, let me count the ways:
1. several awesome meat choices
2. availability of gluten-​free buns that don’t taste like cardboard nor have the texture of plaster; soft and pillowy loveliness!
3. rosemary fries, a stroke of simple brilliance
4. non-​junky refreshing drinks
5. super-​friendly and helpful personnel!
I’m a girl of simple tastes. I don’t need pretentious stuff arranged in the shape of a tiny flower on a large white plate. I don’t need amouse-​bouches. I do need simple, delicious food made with good-​quality ingredients — and on that, Honest Burgers, you certainly delivered!
Now I have one more reason to come to London!

My sister and I went here after a long morning of walking and touring. We went because of the high recommendations on Unilocal!They were right! Our server was enormously attentive and helpful. We started with the onion. Super crispy and flavorful! I got the Deli Burger– no cheese. It was juicy and cooked perfectly. My sister got the Honest Beef. The fries (chips) are incredible! They have been my favorite side dish throughout our entire trip to Europe. Definitely make sure you get the Rosemary fries! I also got an iced tea which was served in a mason jar and with a lemon. It’s so good and you will love it!

Let me just start by saying AMAZING burger and chips (chips aka «french fries» «fries»).
I was walking through SOHO London and I saw this on Unilocal!and I really wanted to try this place out out. So it’s my last day here I walk in and I see theres 3 types of burgers you can get. Chicken /​Beef /​Vegetables. You know im a little T-​Rex so I had to go with the beef. It comes with beef, red onion, smoked bacon, matured cheddar, pickled cucumber and lettuce. Your order automatically comes with a side of rosemary chips. Its actually huge as I could not finish all my chips.
The burger was fantastic, big juicy patty it looked to be ¼ — ½ lb. They cook it how you want so I asked for medium. All the ingredients in the burger are so tasty the fat pieces of bacon, the pickled cucumber, cheddar, red onion, gives it an amazing savory /​delicious /​a tiny hint of sweetness taste as you eat this. After taking my first bite you know when you just shake your head like yeah this is good this is good this is really good. and you don’t say a word and continue to demolish your meal, thats what this was.
The rosemary chips were a perfect compliment to the meal and it was delicious!
Also look how they put the straw in my coke can, they bent the opening tab thing forward instead of how we usually put it towards the back and stuck my straw through there. These English people. they’re on to something mate!!!

Honestly good!!! Loved the juicy patty and nice bun to go along with it. :) Rosemary fries come with the burger too! nom nom!

THE SINGLE BEST VEGGIE BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD
No joke. I love a burger, but between fish and chips and all the burger joints the group of students I was with wanted to dine at, I absolutely HAD to get some veggies! Enter Honest Burgers. This is a chain. A very, very good chain. This location is tiny, but cozy and warm and welcoming. I ordered this rocking veggie burger — more like a veggie fritter and it was amazing. Coincidentally served with an equally amazing yogurt-​based sauce that was a little cool to the little bit of spice in the fritter. It was the perfect pairing.
I would be willing to place a bet on the high quality of the beef burgers served here based solely on the attention paid to the non-​beef eaters choosing to eat at a place with meat in the title if that makes sense. Vegetarians would naturally not be drawn to a place called Honest BURGERS is what I’m getting at here, so why would a burger restaurant take so much care with a veggie burger? Because they actually CARE and if they actually care, then all of their products are going to be delicious because that love goes into the quality and preparation of the food which makes it all taste that much better.
Oh, and try the honest signature cocktail for something new and refreshing.

Went here twice with no queue, the burgers are probably the best I’ve ever had so far. The chips are also delicious.

Heard really good things about Honest Burger but for me it just tasted like every other mid range burger.
They must be something right though with all the new chains they’ve opened up!
The tribute burger I got was juicy. So juicy that my hands smelt of burger juice the whole night. But for me the flavours and textures were not there.
The best burger I’ve tasted is Sketch’s beef foie gras burger which doesn’t have the standard mince beef texture and so really I probably just don’t like burgers and probably shouldn’t really be writing burger reviews.

Delicious meat, tasty buns, perfectly baked rosemary fries (definitely the «petit plus»), original drinks and friendly staff: sounds like this formula works as there is always people waiting for the next available table at Honest. They also play the «organic» and «hipster atmosphere» cards, which makes you even happier to eat there.
Last good point: prices! Even for being in the middle of London (that is clearly not the cheapest town around) prices are really reasonable, as you can count your burger/​fries/​drink for less than 15£.
Looking forward to my next London trip, be sure I’ll pass by Honest!

If there is one thing a burger place is for, it is for filtering people on first dates into two types of people: 1) hands on, face first, or 2) halve & nibble. Its located near Kings X station, so you can politely escape from anyone who is of the No. 2 personality type.
Honest Burger does simplicity very well, and that is a good thing. Plus, its one of the few ‘high-​end’ burger joints that serve (quite lovely rosemary salted) friends included in the price of their burgers.
+ Pick a meat or veg, pick one of 1 – 3 options, or a special. Done, blam, get it in your mouth. In fairness its a rare occasion I say it, but ALL of the burgers are good.
+ Chipotle mayonnaise is delicious, and very more-​ish.
+ Decent selection of beers (I had The Honest Pale Ale from Beavertown) served in a chilled tulip-​glass.
+Kick-​ass staff.
‘Honestly’, if there is an option for an Honest Burger near you when you are craving, go there. Its far better than the majority out there claiming to be burger wunderkinds. And is definitely a lot less grott/​greasy/​dark than MEATmarket.

Die Karte ist ganz einfach aufgebaut: Es gibt Burger mit Chicken, Beef oder Vegi (Glutenfreies Brötchen auch erhältlich) von denen man anschliessend die weiteren Inhalte und Beilagen wählen kann.
Stilvolle und passende Einrichtung, lockeres und freundliches Personal, sehr faire Preise und grosse Portionen!
Unbedingt vorher reservieren — der Laden ist extrem beliebt (bis zu 1.5h Wartezeit)!

Como amante de la comida chatarra este lugar es muy bueno, las hamburguesas son grandes y le podés agregar los complementos que quieras sin cargo, las papas regulares son generosas y alcanzan para 2 y por último la gaseosa, tenés refil gratis y podés elegir entre muchas opciones de gaseosas.
A lo mejor el precio puede ser un poco caro para una hamburguesa pero lo compensa con el resto.
Otro detalle, podés servirte gratis maní con cáscara y es muy rico

Oh yes Baby — wahnsinnig gute Burger! Wer Burger liebt, wird hier glücklich. Das Fleisch wird Medium gegart und ist super zart und geschmackvoll.
Die Rosmarin Pommes sind ebenfalls der Knaller. Und die Bierauswahl glänz ebenfalls mit delikaten Erfrischungen.
Das Lokal ist super klein und darum eng bestuhlt. Am Abend kommt es häufig vor das man warten muss. Ich habe zwischen 2 Stunden oder gar nicht beides erlebt.
Das Verdikt ist klar: für Burgerliebhaber lohnt sich auch das warten!

Ich hatte schon vor meiner Londonreise viel Gutes von Honest Burgers gehört, und um mich kurz zu fassen: Ich wurde in keinster Weise enttäuscht.
Das Lokal war kleiner als erwartet und sehr gut besucht, aber wir hatten Glück und konnten einen der wenigen Plätze im Freien an diesem sonnigen Tag ergattern. Ich bestellte einen einfachen Chicken Burger samt Rosmarin-​Pommes und die hausgemachte Limonade. Die Limonade war gerade richtig für das schöné Wetter, nicht zu süß und schön erfrischend. Nach einer Wartezeit von etwa 15 min wurde mir der Burger von der sehr bemühten, multilingualen und freundlichen Kellnerin serviert. Das Brötchen brachte mich im ersten Moment ins stutzen — es war fast so flaumig wie Brioche, passte aber überraschend gut zum Rest. Das Hühnerfilet war schön saftig, nicht zu fest und nicht zu weich, und die leckeren Rosmarinpommes rundeten das ganze perfekt ab.
Definitiv einer der besten Burger meines Lebens!

Hohohoh! Da freut sich des Simons Herz. Als grosser Burgerliebhaber ist der Honest Burger für mich der Himmel. Honestly. Pun intended.
Das Lokal wurde mir von meinem Bruder empfohlen, welcher es auf Unilocal gefunden hatte. So viele tolle Reviews sprechen ja eigentlich für sich, und natürlich liess ich es mit nicht entgehen bei meinem letzten London-​Besuch das Lokal selbst zu testen. Ich wurde vor langen Schlangen gewarnt, man müsse hier oft zwei Stunden anstehen.
Nicht so am Sonntagnachmittag. Da war gleich ein Tisch für uns frei. Das Menü ist relativ simpel, ich entschied mich für einen regulären Burger mit Käse, dazu Pommes und eine hausgemachte Limonade. Und würde jederzeit wieder genau dasselbe bestellen. Ausser vielleicht die Limo, das ist Geschmacksache.
Nun zum wesentlichen. Der Burger. Das Brot, genial. Weich, fluffig, genau so wie es sein soll. Es unterstützt den Gesamtburger geschmacklich, aber dominiert nicht. Und das Brot ist ja eh nur zum halten des Fleisches da.
Das Fleisch war perfekt gebraten, schön saftig, nicht zu fettig, einfach genial. Ohne Witz, ich könnte es mir nicht besser vorstellen. Ich habe selten einen solch guten Burger gegessen.
Aber fast das geilste waren wohl die Pommes. Rosmarin-​Pommes kriegt man nämlich serviert. Die sind ganz geil goldig frittiert und mit Rosmarin und natürlich Salz gewürzt. Ich muss auch hier wieder sagen: Das waren die besten Fries meines Lebens, ohne Witz!
Ich schwärme noch heute vom Honest Burger, weil er honestly einfach unter die Top 3 meiner Burger-​Favoriten gehört, und da sogar eher am oberen Ende.
Das einzige, was mich störte war der etwas unfreundliche Service. Wir fühlten uns nicht wahnsinnig willkommen. Aber mit dem Burger haben sie das wieder wettgemacht.
Das Lokal ist wirklich sehr klein, gerade zu Stosszeiten kann ich mir sehr gut vorstellen, dass sich riesige Schlangen bilden. Also lieber mal zu einer ungewöhnlichen Essenszeit aufkreuzen!
