Hotel about 5 mins walk from limehouse. On first impressions it is not a nice looking hotel with a concrete plant next door and in a main rd. As a priority member wifi was free and appeared to work well. Room was clean and reasonable size but is it old design and could be updated. It would be good to have plug sockets near the bed to charge phone up. The sockets were all located at the desk. Room itself was at the back of the hotel and was quiet however it was on the 1st floor near the bar so started to get more noisy early in the morning.

Room was fine, but treated like cattle as with all Express By Holiday Inn. I always feel completely ripped off every time I stay at one for me they are the hotel of last resort. Biggest joke of all is what they call a cooked breakfast! Compared to their frequently less expensive competition, i would put Express by Holiday Inn in last place in the rankings.

The room was cozy in size. But we found the heater didn’t work on our third night when the temperature dropped. We also had a few lights not working as well. We did alert the staff to the necessities. My husband is a priority club member and wireless is free with that, but we were charged for it on our first couple of nights. The breakfast was quite nice. The staff seemed quite nice as well. Bed was a bit uncomfortable for me.(But that is me…) It was a great location for access to the DLR and a short hop to Bank for major transfers into London. Overall it was not a bad place to stay, as I would return.

It was amazing staying at Holiday Inn Limehouse. The staff is super helpful, free breakfast is great, there are plenty of places to get food around, as well as convenience stores and post offices which was helpful when changing money. Kids stay free! My party were three adults and 2 children, it was very helpful that the 2 kids could stay with me in a room and not have to pay an extra person fee. Loved the products they used in the bathroom! Lux soap body wash, dove creamy hand wash! They have a hotwater maker in the room which was great for coffee or tee. TV with all channels. Now the rooms are cozy, I would not quite say small, but cozy is the word. But I have been to several homes in London and I don’t think its any different than the average size room in London. very close to the DLR station, which is not a tube station but only one stop away from a major tube station(Bank). it literally took us 20 minutes to get into central London, the DLR station was only about a 7 minute walk from the hotel. Very convenient! This hotel loses one star for not havign wi-fi :(I have to admit the price for wifi for the week wasnt that bad, 49pounds, and they also have one computer in the hotel lobby for anyone to use(It was cool because it was a beats computer); and honestly 80% of the time I went down there to use it it was not occupied. You can also by an hour of internet for 2 pounds, so it wasnt HORRIBLE, but in 2012 really, a hotel where you are paying to stay should really have free wifi. I dont remember the last time I stayed in a hotel without free wifi. I am a fan! My boyfriend and I are planning on going to London, and we will definitely be staying at the holiday inn limehouse!!!
