went there for a snack after Selfridges. Beer good. ham sandwich and chipsets £10.50. Very ordinary for the price. chips arrived 15minutes after the sandwich. Maybe I wouldn’t eat there again. The beer was good and the staff were pleasant. Something you cannot say for a lot of pubs

Small traditional decent pub opposite Selfridge’s. Two handpumps serve London Pride & Adnam’s Broadside. I got the first pint of the day, which tasted a bit stale. Anyway, I got it exchanged quite willingly. They also do food and late evening bites.(Restaurant upstairs.) Mainly stools. Bordercase Gents. Service OK.

This definitely one of those pubs necessary for emergency breaks from Oxford Street shopping overloads as it’s just opposite one of Selfridges side exits. However, it’s got a very small bar and if truth be told pretty standard. There’s no garden per se just a few bistro style tables and chairs on the pavement out the front. Fine for a swift pint or two, stay longer if you like, but you are just round the corner from St Christopher’s Place, further up the street and round the corner.
