called at H+H for the first time since i bought shirts there in the 60s. I was looking to buy an O T P suit as i can no longer afford bespoke. the whole experience was very rewarding, not only allowing for the fact that for the first time i found a suit that fitted me perfectly without any alterations but in addition to this the gentleman who served me was working there in the60s and had, it almost amounts to a certainty, sold me shirts back then .I am next in town in late March and will call in at H+H to buy a couple of there superb shirts.

Great experience as an outsider! I walked into their main location and felt immediately welcome. As part of my journey to London, I was looking for a heavy tweed blazer(Jacket in England) and once I walked into the store, I see it. In addition to this, I was able to find another blazer that I know you can’t find here in the States. Throw in quick alterations(2 days including a weekend) and this made the experience that much better. The experience was great, the products are awesome and I can’t wait to go back. Last but not least, the employees were able to answer all the questions I had about Jermyn Street(and where to go).

I visit Harvie & Hudson whenever im in London, their shirts are first class(I have many). I am always kindly looked after often by Mr Harvie. I look forward to my next visit. A true Traditional English shop. keep up the good work guys!

I was a fan of Harvie & Hudson shirts, but not any more. I think the quality of their shirts are not what they used to be, back in the day that is. I’d rather go to Hilditch & Key.

Fantastic, upmarket shirt maker. So beloved by our family(my father had many H&H shirts) that my mother’s Jack Russell Terrier in Australia is named Hudson. Perhaps not surprisingly the family’s previous Jack Russell was named Harvie.

This is my other favorite shirt maker, located on Jermyn St. of course. Like the other high-end makers they use the finest cottons and the shirts last an eternity.

Staff a very little bit old and frosty but the shirts are very good indeed; they wear very well(including, most importantly, the collars) and wash very well. Apart from Hilditch and Key i would not go anywhere else to get my shirts. All in all pretty much as good as its gets, and a family run British buisness too.
