After finally getting up on New Year’s Day, I remembered that no one had bought any food, the only thing in the house way empty whisky bottles and I wasn’t anywhere near home, I was on my best mate’s sofa. So, Chinese was the only option. Luckily, this one is two minutes away from said sofa, so was our best option all round. It’s pretty cheap. I got a set meal thingy for a fiver — rice, chinese chicken and spring rolls. I’m guessing the food here are a bit hit and miss. My chicken main was below average, but my mate was ahppy with her beef in black bean. My spring rolls were YUM! So for a quick fix, it’s great, and the staff were very friendly and service was speedy. And let’s face it, we were lucky enough to even find somewhere open on New Year’s Day! Happy New Year everybody!

The food is alright but not one that I will recommend. Try to order noodles rather than rice. The Singapore Fried Noodles is quite nice but that is probably on of the nicer dishes. It is located next to the Heathcote Arms; a good place to have cheap Chinese after drinking! Downside though is that the shop closes quite early, at about 11ish. The owner is really nice and friendly, you get free crackers sometimes! and the price is reasonably cheap, about £4 for a portion of fried noodles.
