Specialties

We are a local independent bike shop specialising in road bikes, hybrids and custom builds. We also service all types of bikes on site and are happy to work on high end road and mountain bikes and also your old banger which has been at the bottom of the garden for a decade!

We also do medium to good quality coffee and have a skateboard department in our basement!

History

Established in 2003.

We have been known as Halfpipe for over a decade now, and we still are, we just decided to split our websites into two. HUB for bikes and Halfpipe for Skate!

Friendly service bike shop, will do minor work for free unlike other shops.
I took in my second hand purchase in, and they were kind enough to tell me if I can’t get the siezed seatpost higher there’s no point me paying for all the other parts on it.

Probably the friendliest bicycle shop in the area. They stock a wide selection of bikes and accessories, and have a snowboard section downstairs.
You don’t have to be cool and trendy to get good advice and service here — the jobs are marked down on a blackboard, so you know exactly where you stand.
