I recently went to Halfords as the headlights on my car weren’t working so I assumed I needed new bulbs. The large store’s based on a somewhat retail island across the road from Catford station, just before the bridge, and has ample parking. Because I got to the store when it was dark and raining, I was asked to come back the next day if I wanted them to fit the bulbs. I have no idea how to do it so was more than happy to come back then. Roll on Sunday and the sales assistant decided the best way to find the bulbs I need was to take a look at my car. After a bit of fiddling and popping my bonnet, it was deduced that the bulbs didn’t need replacing, but a wire had detached somewhere so the bulbs weren’t lighting up. In two seconds he fixed it and I was all set with nothing to pay! Considering five out of six bulbs weren’t working, and it costs £5.99 to change EACHBULB(before even considering the cost of the bulb itself) the guy saved me £££s! Top stuff from Halfords!
