Pretty great coffee(the best I have tasted in the area so far), and delicious egg and bacon on toasted bread with maple syrup. Nice ambience and friendly staff.

Very nice cozy environment with large sofas and plenty of chairs and tables. The latte is ok but the service is a little slow and loud. I have never ordered any food, but always want to, it looks amazing!

Sweet spot on the way to the overground with space to work & wifi. Really good lattes and a friendly staff. I love coming here to work or meet a friend. They also have loyalty cards to gain a free drink every 10th you buy!

I live nearby and love the coffee here(Climpson & Sons). Service ain’t super fast(dont stop here if you are running late and picking up a coffee on the go) but usually nice vibe and good music too. Pretty hipster which is not surprising for this part of town…

Friendly service and comfortable sofas. Nice baked goodies including cronuts which I have yet to try! Good quality coffee and tea. Dog friendly and relaxed environment with free wifi. Highly recommended.

I am no east London coffee snob, but found this to be a nice little café in the neighbourhood with plenty of sofas, chairs, and tables, making for a nice environment in which to socialise, work, or just chill. I’ve been meaning to try this place forever, and HER recently represented Haggerston on a coffee tube map circulated by TimeOut. I ordered an iced coffee but what I received was more like an iced latte, and seemed a bit pricey around £3.50. Regardless, it was a cool, smooth and refreshing beverage on a warm day. Didn’t get to try any food, but there was some sort of blueberry cheesecake on display which looked delicious. They offer a loyalty card(10th drink free, I believe) so pick one up if you live or work in the area. One word of warning though: I noticed on their Facebook page a recent post mentioning a laptop thief who had struck a few times, so definitely don’t leave your belongings unattended here(although you really shouldn’t do that anywhere)! I guess I would actually give this a 3.5, but feeling generous today so will round up :)

Although the coffee and food were nice the service was terrible. Four staff, an empty café yet you feel like you’re an imposition.

This place is busy and a bit cool for school. My portion of pancakes was tiny — which is great for my figure, less so for my wallet ;) It’s off my beaten track these days so I wouldn’t head back as the food options are limited, but it is a cute spot for coffee and community goss x

Quality espresso, tea and food menu. Slightly off the beaten path. Definitely worth the pit stop. I’d go back again and again.
