This Savile Row firm is probably the finest in terms of bespoke made Country Tweed suits. Their overcoats are really nice, probably one of the best in Savile Row. And would you believe it, Huntsman now have classic denim blue jeans. All of the Huntsman classic denim blue jeans are all made in England. The customer service here at Huntsman is superb and out of this world. Whenever you make a purchase at Huntsman worth over £50-£100, they always send you the receipt in the post,(i.e. A4 letter size). Personally I’d rather pay for Huntsman goods using my American Express credit card. Interesting to mention, Huntsman have a bank account with Coutts & Co. Now that’s telling you something: Huntsman having a Coutts & Co bank account based in the Strand. Well, that just shows that Huntsman is an upscale firm. As of November 2011, Huntsman have discontinued stocking jeans. And I’m sad about that. Nonetheless, I will still shop at Huntsman. Mind you, Huntsman did send me a Christmas card that came in the post last week.

H. Huntsman & Sons have always had the reputation of being the most expensive tailors on Savile Row(which may not be true, since to my knowledge, Ozwald Boateng charges considerably more for a bespoke suit). I really like the silouette of my Huntsman suits, and if you go with their house style, you will get very strong and structured shoulders, a nicely nipped waist, fairly open quarters, and if you like even a one-button closure. The quality is quite good although the finishing of my suits could have been considerably better: Buttons come undone and threads show on buttonholes. Their choice of cloth is extensive, and they have a great variety of different tweeds with anything from plain and simple to hideously striped and gaudy. Customer service is good, but not great and waiting times may take quite long.
