Fun fact — H&M is the only store nearby where you can find a lint roller. They’re 99p and come in a series of ridiculously unnecessary patterns. Don’t bother with Boots, Savers, Tesco or Superdrug; they don’t have ‘em. (Bonus fun fact — said lint roller shows up as an «umbrella» on the receipt)

My first experience with H&M was at their newly opened store in San Francisco, CA a few years ago. Since then, I have had consistent success in finding new clothes, regardless if I am looking for a nice shirt, new jumper, pair of trousers or assorted accessories. H&M seems to have high quality stuff at very reasonable prices. One time I managed to get a nice dress shirt and pair of khakis for £10 total! As it is getting colder and I was shedding some old clothes, I decided to visit the H&M in Wood Green. They had a very large Men’s section and a large assortment of different type of clothing. I ended up finding a couple long sleeve shirts and a nice jumper to replace a worn out and ageing one. My experience was good, with the exception of the cashiers who were very slow and at one point there was only one with about 10 or so people in the queue.
