Specialties
Gymkhana serves contemporary Indian cuisine using seasonal British ingredients and a strong focus in the tandoori oven. The menu offers chatpatta food and sense of conviviality with dishes meant for sharing.
The interior design of Gymkhana references British Raj India reminiscent of the gymkhana clubs with the dining room flanked by turned oak booths, marble tables and fluted, bitter chocolate leather banquettes. The lower ground floor of Gymkhana is a modern day interpretation of a 17th Century East India punch house, with a grand aged brass bar at its heart. On either side of the room two secluded, sunken vaults are located, one which seats up to ten guests and the other seating up to 16 guests.
The Gymkhana bar specialises in classic Indian punches, cocktails– fusing spices with Indian spirits, and a specialised gin and tonic list. We also focus in absinthe and arrack and offer lagers and Indian pale ales.
