Best Gucci store in London, so much better than the old bond street store

Everything is more expensive in London, they say. Oddly, Gucci is a «bargain» as compared to the Gucci store in Toronto. And things are in stock. The Gucci store in Toronto was pretty much sold out of winter scarves by mid-November but the London store had them in stock and for about two-thirds what you’d pay in Toronto. And if you claim your VAT at the airport its even better.
Service was good. I liked they had a guy opening your door for you. You open your own door in Toronto.

This is the newly renovated Gucci boutique. I brought my client here for shopping. Except that I didn’t buy anything.
The lighting and colors goes very well. Bronze, gold and the warm lighting. Clients would want to stay in the boutique longer. Floors are made of marble. Plus the lounge chair for your companion who is just not into shopping.
Like all Gucci stores. Everything is properly laid out. They took a step further with windows, lighting, to create proper props for each displays.
Salespeople were very friendly. My client is happy, and I’m more than happy to just admire the boutique.
For the grand opening, they’re promoting the special limited edition bag ‘Sloane UK, Gucci’
