The receptionist was lovely but from my experience that was it! The lady who did my hair Jodie didn’t want to listen and suggested that if she did my hair how I want it, it will look like a box color I could do at home that has washed out on the ends(it didn’t) she complained about her boss to me saying he wants all customers to have block one color(I wanted ombré) I tried to make a booking(stupidly) to come back the next day for lightening the ends because Jodie couldn’t do it and a second lady suggested it would cost me £80 something… pretty much because they didn’t want to do it! Also the toilet was revolting! There was a horrible smell and feces all over the bowl… I will not be a repeat customer! Btw I took her advise and did a box color ombré and it looks great! Bit disappointed that an armature could do a color application that a hairdresser of however many years can’t!

I love this place. Dividing my time between the south coast and London I have never found a better salon. All the staff are friendly and professional and I have always walked out happy with a perfect haircut. The salon itself is clean with a funky décor and a lively and buzzing atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I had my eyebrows waxed at the salon today and it was the worst experience I have ever had. Not only did the lady make each eyebrow a different shape, and a different distance from the centre of my nose, she cut a large chunk out of them when she trimmed them. I will never ever returned to this salon and if you respect your eyebrows you won’t either!

This is a lovely salon run by the kind and charming Nicola. I can’t comment on the hairdressing part of the show but the skincare is really professional. Greenwich Clipper offers a range of facials, IPL, and dermabrasion. Putting one’s face in someone else’s hands(or under their laser) is rather scary, but Nicola inspires total confidence. She knows her stuff and follows all the procedures to the letter, but she also really cares about her clients. I’m moving away from the area soon and don’t know what I’ll do without her!

i love the greenwich clipper, ive used it for many years and i am always happy, i find the staff so friendly and professinal, some of these comments are alfull, i do think if you have a complaint you should call the salon not write really personal things on anything! are we forgetting that these are humans we are talking about and they have feelings to, keith has cut my hair mant times and hes always been really friendly towards me and ive always been happy with my hair, he gave me a sample treatment in there beauty salon, which tells me hes not that alfull at all,

I have lost count of the number of people who have complimented me on the haircut Claire gave me this week but I know it’s over 20. People I haven’t seen for ages said, What a good cut! and I love your hair, it really suits you. The Clipper staff are thoroughly professional and there is 20% off on Mondays and Tuesdays but check when you book. I shan’t be going anywhere else.

Go to Claire at Clippers. She is wonderful, especially if you want hair extensions, and she’s an expert on colour and cutting. Best day to go is Monday, she doesn’t do the 20 per cent discount on Tuesdays as she is part-time. Highly recommended. I think it’s good value for money too. Claire is great if you want a new style, and comes up with good ideas.

I was shocked to learn the that the rudest, little man I have ever had the displeasure of coming across, is actually the OWNER of this hairdresser: KEITHHAWKES. what a joke. I was pleased that they could accommodate me within 30 minutes of my call but ended up being told I needed to come back to see the colour specialist. At the stage of making an appointment I had explained that I had naturally dark brown hair and had dyed black but wanted to return to a slightly lighter shade. Disappointed that I could not be seen, insult to injury lay in the comments made by KEITHHAWKES, ”You’ve already screwed it up once, don’t want to screw it up again’, ‘What were you thinking dying your hair at home?’, ‘It looks awful’, ‘No, I can’t tell what colour that is from your photo, it just looks black to me’- all this in front of his stunned staff and another client. It is no surprise this place could ‘squeeze’ me in, given that their service, professionalism and manners are so shocking that people will have little hesitation in visiting other(any other) hairdressers. I used to visit the beauty salon years ago and was always very happy with the staff but today’s experience, reminded me why I prefer to pay a premium on prices for haircuts in the City or West End, where the competition ensures that staff have at least basic manners and know the meaning of customer service.

This place is excellent, but it isn’t a cut and dry five stars. I’ll explain. I’ve never had a pedicure before, so honestly I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I’m impressed. My tootsies are all soft and bright pink and sparkly and exactly what you’d want from a pedicure. The lady was nice, and they’ve got a half price offer on at the moment which means my treatment was £!3.50. I think anyone who knows beauty salons will agree that that’s a bargain. Even £27 at full price is a bargain. So I’m thrilled to find such a great place near me, but it’s not a five star place. Even with the garden out the back. The staff are nice, it’s very pleasant, but it doesn’t wow you. The magazines are two months old, and honestly, it’s a bit tatty around the edges. But there’s a reason the place is as cheap as it is. And if I’m only paying £13.50 for a treatment, I can deal with stuff like that. I love it here, and they’ve won themselves a new customer. But if you’re expecting something fancy, this isn’t the place for you. If you want a great treatment, for a great price, you’ve found yourself a great little haven.

Profound if only for being the venue which can now proudly say it has been the first professional hairdressers I’ve allowed near my hair for about ten years. I’ve been using my own pair of clippers and apparently saving an arm and a leg in the process.£19 it cost me! That said, what I’ve been saving myself in money I’ve perhaps somewhat been losing in style. …well the verdict not a bad cut according to others. I lest not be the judge of my hair — I have been cutting my own for so long I’ve lost all sense of good or bad hair in regards to my own. The staff were friendly enough(I was warey because I had heard otherwise), it was quick and I felt pretty good with it when I left. Could’ve possibly given me a bit of guidance on keeping it a bit more well to do from now on, but I suppose that would put them out of business if they started putting secrets like that about.
