Goswell Road Post Office

This post office is now closed

When living in Clerkenwell, the post office situated on Goswell Road is the most convenient. It is like run by an Indian family who can assist you professional from over seas packages, registered mail to normal first class stamps. This post office is very small and only haves 2 counters. They also provide a service of black and white photocopies, however, the quality is not good enough if needed for design work.
They also have a little shop with sweets, cigarettes and stationary. One thing I always forget and should not admit, is taking an envelop from the stationary and not mentioning it at the counter that I have to pay for it. I just forget! But the man behind the till normally reminds me.
I use to go there, not because of the free envelopes but because it is so empty. Many other post offices do have long queues. This one nobody seems to know about.
