Very nice Italian menswear shop and very well presented. But the owner, manager and founder is very rude, hostile and aggressive. The owner’s actual real name is Giovanni Giordano, born in November 1967. I will never walk into his shop ever again, if I were to do so, it will be to hell and back. I’d rather go down to Savile Row. The suits in Savile Row are much nicer, much better, and always worth the serious investment. Savile Row is much better than Gio Genco’s. Gio Genco’s suits remind me of Chester Barrie’s cut and cloth, but there is no way on this earth, that the man himself will ever be like a Savile Row tailor, he’s just an Italian gents outfitter, that’s all, nothing that special. I’ve spoken to him on the phone a few times, and he sounds really aggressive and completey out of patience. I feel scared and threaten whenever I need to ask him something over the phone and even in person. Considering Mr Genco does not know me from Adam, I find his telephone manner trully disgusting and his behaviour totally revolting. Mr Genco is seriously another one to avoid. Gio Genco is trying to copy the Chester Barrie look and feel, but the man himself does not have the mind of Chester Barrie and Hardy Amies. Gio Genco does not even know the true meaning of Savile Row Bespoke. He probably doesn’t know the high skilled artisan of Savile Row tailoring. Gio Genco is also a stockist for Zimmerli Swiss Underwear and Merola Gloves.
