I like pizza, but I don’t like queues, or waiting around for ages outside… so I never bothered to visit Franco Manca, as they always seem to have a long line out the door. I mostly wear dresses or skirts, so my chilly legs ain’t got no time for that! However, now they have been around for a while, the queue seems to have calmed down(at least on Monday nights– yay!) I looove: — The sourdough bases were perfect! I often leave the crust of my pizza if they are dry and boring… but I ate every crumb of this! Seriously… the crusts were crunchy, yet soft and doughy. They were even better drizzled in a little chilli oil. Yum. — They only have a few options for toppings, but both of the pizzas we tried were lovely. — The wine wasn’t too pricey, but tasted good. — It is really affordable! £7ish for a huuuge pizza. Even with wine I spent less than £11! This was better than ICCO. You can’t get better pizza-praise than that. *I still wouldn’t wait in line for an hour though!*

For the price good tasting pizza and value for money. Also the ambience was rather nice. We had a table downstairs and felt roomy. Not many choices on the menu, but that can make ur life a bit easier when chossing. House wine was below average but resolved with ibuprofen and aspirin this morning

Looking for good pizza, all of the Franco Manca’s have great reviews and a good reputation, so we tried it out. Long wait(about an hour) — expected to be honest, but they have an excellent reservation system, where you can check your spot in line via your smartphone browser! Food is quick and cheap. Hot fired oven pizza, though pretty well made. I actually thought our pizza was undercooked a bit, and a bit doughy in the middle, but overall it was quite good. While the menu is small everything is simple and well done. No frills. Service is great, because the turnover is so high, they are always around and moving quickly. For the price, this is a great value. For fairly cheap, good pizza, in a central location this is the place to go.

One of the best Pizza’s in London. Fresh, delicious sourdough pizza’s are always welcome in my world. Not much to say apart from TRYIT! You won’t be disappointed.

Quality, cheap eat in Covent Garden! Mainly pizza, but hey, they know how to do it really well. Fresh and tasty ingredients used — I got the Veggie Special pizza of the day, which had extra pecorino cheese, yellow and red peppers, fresh rocket greens, and impressively tasty(pitted!) olives. Not oily or greasy — fresh and light, if bready. The end crust is quite bready — that’s my jam, but not everyone’s favorite type of pizza. The crust/bread under the main part of the pizza though was quite thin. A bit logistically difficult to navigate if you have a lot of toppings(to fold the pizza or not to fold…). Would have 5-ed for the food alone except that the service was very inattentive. Getting a table to start with seemed disorganized(the hostess wasn’t writing names down but trying to remember who to seat in which order… and wasn’t always doing a great job with this). The waiter did not read out the specials but told me to get up from my table and read the sign. We were not asked how the food was during the course of the meal. And finally, our waiter never gave us the check! Had to wave the hostess down to get our check… like, did they want us pay or not? Clearly the place was very busy, and as long as we were proactive we got what we wanted, but definitely this place is understaffed for how popular it is. The hostess explained that probably around 4 pm is the only time it’s less busy. Anyways, we were happy with the bill — 15 pounds for two pizzas and a bubbly water. Quality, price, location, vibes of the restaurant all on point. Service needs improving(hire another waiter or two!).

Oh wow if you like Pizza like me your going to love this place! Franco Manca now have a few places around London and this great new location in Covent Garden is perfect! The restaurant is small but we managed to grab a table straight away, the whole place looked great and it had a great buzz to the place, you can sit and with a no logo beer which tasted great btw, i was pondering on what pizza to have as they all looked great on other tables, but i eventually decided on a sour dough Tomato, Cured organic chorizo(Dry & semi-dry) & mozzarella pizza, The pizza was tasty and fresh and at £6.95 a great price!!! Im now a fan of Franco Manca!!!
