I was not warned that there was already a decision made not to renew the rental contract in less than three months. These people would do anything to get the fee. Avoid by all means.

If Unilocal would allow me to, I wouldn’t give them any stars at all! They are unprofessional, unresponsive, and they do not follow up with their customers in a timely fashion! I have been waiting for the remainder of my security deposit for over 2 months now, and it is no longer acceptable! They still owe me over £1,100, and no one has replied back to me on this issue since they deposited the incorrect amount into my account! I am NEVER dealing with foxtons again for as long as I live!!! I am so sick and tired of waiting for responses and dealing with this issue that should have been dealt with when I moved out of the flat 3 months ago!

It was initially my fault. I allowed myself to get lured by their contemporary aesthetics and their massive plasma TV, showing videos of artists like Britney Spears. That should have been my first clue. I guess as a marketing idea it works it gets people through the doors which is the hardest part. Coffee (Illy)?, Coke?, Diet– Coke?, Perrier?
Seriously, what do all of the above have to do with an estate agent. Back then, we though how great! They really care about the customer!
We began liaising with Tannaz, really nice young lady, very energetic, helpful and fun to talk to on the drive to view the flats. She kept constantly emailing options and so forth. One day we came for our appointment and she was gone. At first we were told to wait that she was running late. We waited. Half an hour went by and no signs of her. Finally a tall gentleman came out from behind (were they carry their day to day operations) and said he would be taking over her appointments. I was so confused, we went along anyway, he wasn’t as fun, he wasn’t very friendly and in fact he was quite arrogant. I felt complete distrust and uncomfortable with the entire situation. The flats mostly satisfied our requirements but something just wasn’t right. We decided to go with someone else. We went with Dexters (5 stars to them), we also saved ourselves about £240 in agency fees. Foxtons was £340! You do the math… All I got from them was lots of Perrier.
