Fox & Pheasant

Great little local place. A bit of a dive but in a charming way. If I was back in Chelsea, I’d go again.

Dreary place. Avoid unless you want to meet drunk taxi drivers ahead of a Chelsea game.

Ok… increasing the star value since this would be my ideal local. We ended up frequenting this little gem 3 times while staying in London. It is a very warm place to sit down and have a chin wag and a pint. The Irish bartender was extremely personable and even remembered what we drank. They do offer some hot lunches during the week, but not on the weekend. I did notice that they also received some Indian Delivery when I was there so I guess they don’t mind if you have something delivered to you. They have the footie on the telly… I always thought that when I retired I wanted to own a pub… this would be the exact pub which I would love to own one day. On our last visit as we walked in. the barkeep looked at us and said. «Let me see you need two Kronenbourg’s, a Strongbow and a I have no Fking clue.» the mate we dragged in there with us had not been there yet… loved the honestly and the surliness was perfect. I will miss you guys!
