Fort Box is located in central St John’s Wood, in the heart of London. We have 380 storage rooms of many different sizes within our highly secure facility. Every room is alarmed and the site is always manned by our trained staff during opening hours.

Storage at Fort Box is quick and simple to organise: you choose the size of room you need, sign your contract and move your goods in. If you need more or less space later on then you can move rooms at no extra charge and simply pay the rate for the new room.

In addition to the high level of security, Fort Box provides a greater level of customer service and comfort than our competitors. We have internal loading bays to keep you out of the British weather, our corridors are carpeted and well lit, and in our reception area you can help yourself to an espresso coffee or cold bottle of water. There is free wifi and a comfortable area to sit with your laptop.

We are also unique in offering a free van pick up service, using our own van and member of staff as driver. Simply book in your pick-​up time when you make your reservation.

Fort Box has a variety of price discounts to help with your budget, from the first month for free to long term price reductions when you pay in advance. They are subject to availability and please speak to our staff for full details.

Fort Box was founded by business professionals with many years experience in the self storage industry.

Our business ethos is to provide a high level of service and comfort in central London locations, which offer the maximum convenience to people with busy lives.

Business Owner

Hugh was a director of the UK Self Storage Association for many years and Chairman in ²⁰¹²⁄₁₃. He is a Chartered Accountant by training and is a very experienced business manager.
