This is My favorite coffee shop in London. Personnal recommendation: flat white and chai tea latte

Surprise! Surprise! We found this place by chance while being touristy around London. We were desperate for a coffee after a long day of walking here and there showing the city to family, and this was the place for it. Still hot outside, we ordered two iced lattes and they were good. They use Caravan coffee and the barista that served us, seemed skilled enough to do a more than decent latte. He was also very nice and chatty, even though they were closing in 30 mins. They didn’t have much left to eat, so I’ll try their food or sweets any other time I’m around. There is space to sit upstairs and downstairs and a small bench outside. And they also have free WiFi.

An unexpected, semi-hip decent coffee shop in the thick of it. I ended up there, having needed to park my Santander bike to avoid the charge. A decent cold brew, some friendly sassy staff and a good chocolate cake made me happy I stopped in. It’s always nice to find a place in Europe that cares about the bean and isn’t turning everything into espresso.

Great atmosphere(people, music, decoration) and very good coffee. Especially downstairs is very cosy with big wooden tables and super comfy sofas and chairs. A place where you can easily hide for a few hours reading a book when it’s raining outside.

I’ve only been here a couple of times for tea to do some work between classes but have enjoyed each of my experiences. There’s lots of space(especially downstairs) and it’s a good place if you need to focus. Free wifi as well!

I’ve visited here on a Saturday and a Sunday, definitely my favourite coffee shop so far. The coffee is amazing, as are the food and cakes. Seating upstairs and downstairs and a breakfast bar style seating against the wall as well as a couple of tables by the window. If you like tea, there’s plenty of that too and coffee making equipment. But if you;re serious about good coffee, you really should try this place. Free WiFi too :-)

I stood there watching the barista move garbage pails and wipe down the floor with bare hands and blue paper towels. Surely she’s going to wash her hands before making my espresso, right? Wrong.

I’ve been here two times now and I am in love with this place. The exterior is very inviting and it only gets better once you get inside. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is fast. So far the only thing i’ve eaten here is the soup, a big bowl of fresh healty soup with delicious bread and salted butter. To make it even better, this will only cost you 3 pounds and I guarantee that you’ll be full. (today I had the sweet potato soup with coconut milk, which was slightly spicy)

Good coffee, but stroppy service on the till. It’s supposed to be busy, get over it. Also enquired about buying a Chemex and was told a blatantly made up price on the spot. «How much is that Chemex?» [Long pause] «Errrrr, Fifty quid» That’s about a tenner too high guys, ended up buying at Curators Coffee for £43.

Delightful staff(really) and delicious coffee. Comfortable space too. A true find on Fleet Street.

Fleet st press is really close by to my uni and I always walk pass by this place whenever I go to the library. Friends have been saying that they have one of the best iced coffee so I tried and they are true. Ice latte is truly a perfect company for a sunny day in London and Fleet Street press has a good one for you. It has the right proportion of coffee, milk, and ice, so it won’t disappoint you. However, I found it lacking because they don’t have sugar syrup. And adding plain cane sugar doesn’t help because they don’t easily melt like in a hot coffee. The selection of pastries look tempting and I will come here more often to try them out and see if I change my ratings for this place. I will perhaps sit here to check out the ambience and review the interior.

Very solid indie coffee shop just pastf the edge of the City. Lawyers rub elbows with law students. The coffee is decent — as is the tea(though not loose leaf and nothing to write home about) and reasonably priced, considering. Nice space downstairs which is about ½ shabby chic thrift store finds and ½ «OMG, we just need to get some faux IKEA chairs so there will be somewhere to sit» Fourth star for the books. Cafés are always better with bookshelves.

The vibe at The Fleet Street Press is hip but cheerful. No Early 21st Century ironic snarls for the baristas who work here. Terrific coffee and tea with fresh pastries and other baked goods and sandwiches. The selection of beverage beans and leaves is very impressive. The customer base appears to be a mélange of lawyers, clerks, tourists, locals, and students – everybody getting along quite nicely, thank you. Because of the downstairs room, there appears to be plenty of seating even at crush times. The price is also very right: 2 pots of tea and 2 pastries in the AM consistently came in c. 8.50 – not bad at all for the location. We had to change hotels today and will miss this place. Like Arnold S., however: «We’ll be back.» PS: be sure to check out where the toilet brush is stored if you use the ‘loo.

Good coffee in the city, surprising amount of seating and friendly baristas. Prices are pretty standard, and the vibe is half indie coffee shop, half banker stop-in which kind of works. Seems like a mix of tourists, students and business meetings, but the cappuccinos are pretty good and location is fabulous!
