Local chippy. Cheap and cheerful. Decent fish and chips. Exactly what I was looking for!

I was in London on August 2, 2014 on a layover from Venice Italy. Some friends of mine picked us up from the airport and we were starving. We wanted to have a traditional Fish and chip meal. He stopped off here and they willingly accommodated 20 of us for take out lunch. They were patient, kind and so friendly. We each got an order of fish and chips, drinks, ices and other items. They supplied us with not the bare essentials but many extra sides as well. They also gave us a deal on the meals so that was great as well. The fish and chips were great they were seasoned well and were hot and fresh. I would definitely visit them again if I am ever in London.

This is one of not many fish and chip shops in newham, its situated on the prince regents lane, canning town. This is neither one of the best fish and chip shops either. Its quite expensive fish and chips starting at aroun £6.80 which is for a tiny bit of cod. Prices are way to steep for example chips £1.10 saveloy £1.20 this is outragous and its not even of the best quality. The staff aren’t very polite the may have a laugh an joke with their regular staff but you dont even hear them mutter to you ifyour not a regular. They do one day in the week pie and mash ive never tasted it so i couldnt comment on this. The shops not as clean as it could be but its not dirty. Their are a few better fish and chip shops about but yoy do have to search around.
