Fired Earth

We needed to re-​tile our bathroom and one of the shops that offers good quality, as well as fun-​to-​look at tiles for affordable prices is Fired Earth… this is according to my other half who’s an interior designer.
We had been at various other locations in London already and had picked up samples from various tiles, to test out of how they look and feel in our home. We eventually made up our mind and went for the East Hampton hexagon-​shaped mosaic marble.
This location in Marylebone is close to my office, so one day I popped in here to place the final order. The sales agent, Sharie, was super helpful and she made the order-​process a breeze. She followed up with a written email confirmation and told me that the delivery is scheduled for the agreed date. Wonderful!
What really made this an extraordinary experience was when I came back to this shop a few weeks later to return the samples. These samples were from the Islington and Hampstead branches, plus I had lost the receipts… and so I wasn’t quite sure if they would refund the money. Luckily, Sharie was on duty again: she loaded the computer and spent some time digging for the online-​receipts. She found them in the end and refunded me back my 28 quid.
That’s what I call great customer service!
