Friendly staff, super affordable drinks, great live music on Friday nights, little Secret Garden in the back(walk through the wardrobe doors — ooh la, how fun!), and varied, comfy seating. If I lived nearby, I’d consider becoming a Regular. Only con: I could smell the toilet from across the room. But then again, it IS called Filthy’s.

Filthy?! This place didn’t seem too filthy to me! My friends and I wandered in here after having a peek in Vivien of Holloways. We had just tried on bridesmaid dresses, so fancied celebration drinks(we didn’t actually choose dresses yet, but meh, any excuse eh!?) Drinks: — £15 for a bottle of Prosecco — yay! — Cocktails served in jam jars were only £3 each — yay! Décor: It is a little strange… we sat on sofas that are surrounded by picket fences. There were lots of interesting things on the walls, and I have a feeling they are hiding Narnia at the back of the room.* The filthy part: The only let down was that the loos were amazingly gross. There was a large puddle in the middle of the floor that you have to jump over to read the stalls… maybe they named the bar after the cleanliness of the ladies loos? *There is a wardrobe at the back of the room that I saw a couple of people come out of. It either leads to Narnia, or a smoking area. I meant to investigate, but then got so tipsy that I forgot the check. Oops.
